Good as Always, kids love to play the pool and i do love the silence and peace there !

Great experience, warm reception and overall good service, breakfast had a little bit of everything, even a reasonable cappuccino machine. Room was comfortable and clean with nice balcony, chirping birds, nice view. I would love to come back and check out some of the amenities I missed like the pool. Golf course was nice but was expensive by US standards

The hotel was very nice and clean. We enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed playing golf. Breakfast was okay.. they have 2 restaurants but no dinner buffet. Sad we weren’t able to taste the food at their restaurant because of the events there, so we were told that the restaurant was closed for the event. They didn’t have toiletries for kids too :( but its okay. And also a little bit disappointed because my husband couldn’t speak Chinese and there was a misunderstanding due to the language barrier so we were charged a big amount for the water he got at the pool side, should’ve brought the water we had in our room.

The hotel has a vintage ambiance, with both the rooms and the building showing signs of age. While cleanliness is adequate, it does not reach a high standard. On a positive note, the staff is exceptional—very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The pool area is well-maintained and pleasant to use. However, the breakfast experience was disappointing; it did not meet expectations and was notably subpar. While I would consider returning to this hotel for another stay, I would choose to book without the breakfast option in the future.

It was my first time witnessing such a beautiful moment, and the resort provided the perfect backdrop for this joyous event. From the breathtaking views surrounding the hotel to the soothing nighttime chorus of frogs and the warmth of the summer sun by the pool, every moment felt like a slice of heaven. The rooms were **spacious, clean, and comfortable**, and the delicious breakfasts kept us energized for each day’s adventures. What truly stood out was the exceptional service—the staff were polite, attentive, and always ready to help, making our stay even more enjoyable. We left with nothing but praise for Hill View Resort. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great amenities and warm hospitality, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

Hillview Hotel is our “home away from home” and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! We selected this hotel this time, as wanted to enjoy the beautiful gardens to relax & unwind. The pool was still a little cold, and we look forward to coming back during the Dragon Boat Festival to swim with family. The room was great - comfort and clean as ever.

Outstanding service attention, the place is old but in great maintenance condition and superbly cleanest, that is the best of the place. Very recommendable.

I recently visited the Hillview Golf Resort in Dongguan, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the food was decent, and the staff members were incredibly kind and friendly. The swimming pool was refreshing and well-maintained, adding to the enjoyment of the visit. My family and I had a wonderful time, and we are already planning to return for more weekends here soon. Considering the quality of service and overall experience, I find the pricing quite reasonable. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to my friends for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Everything was ok except for the shower and the buffet. The wall and floor looked like dirty and signs of not having been cleaned for a long time. The buffet was soso, the bread was not fresh, and I couldn't see fruits there.

Old interior and a lot of noise from the air conditioner. Additional also very unpleasant smell in the room. Hotel does not match the pictures. Was once a nice hotel but had its best time.

It is a quiet and peaceful hotel. Hotel staff friendly. For the price, this hotel is perfect. Breakfast is quite Chinese but they do try to cater to Foreigners as well. The pool is really nice and there aren't usually many people. I have stayed here many times with my kids. They enjoy the big terrain where they can run and play on the grass as well as the little slide by the pool. It is also a 5 min cab ride away to Dongcheng where you can find loads of western restaurants.
