THIS HOTEL IS DISGUSTING!! If I could give a zero, I would have. My family was in town for a soccer tournament and this was the team's hotel for a stay to play tournament. Never again!! Outside of the hotel, in the elevator and in the hallways had a musty odor and smelled like ****. Room was infested with tiny roaches and just didn't feel super clean. I don't do bugs! Had booked two nights but checked out after the first night for better accommodations somewhere else. The owner should be ashamed of these issues, because based on reviews, this has been going on for quite some time. Get your act together. Close this place down and get rid of your roach problem, and bring in a professional cleaning crew for a deep clean.
We enjoyed a two-night stay. The front desk staff were nice. Breakfast was excellent. Will definitely stay at this hotel next time when we are visiting this area.
I want to say that the five stars for this review are almost entirely because of the customer service we received from Brandon, who was working the front desk when we checked in and each night we stayed at this hotel. My boyfriend and I live in Hilton Head, South Carolina, and came to Atlanta for my birthday. I have been vacationing in Atlanta for years and this has always been my hotel of choice to stay at when I am there. This time, there was an issue with the first room we checked into and when we informed Brandon he more than compensated for the problem, including moving us to an upgraded room. I wish I could stop the review here but to do so would not be giving a fair and honest account of our stay. As previous recent reviewers have stated, the rooms are in desperate need of renovation/updating. The room we were moved to was very nice and the bed was so extremely comfortable that we wanted to take it with us. In fact we were so pleased with the customer service we got from Brandon that we ended up deciding to stay an extra night when we had only planned on staying one night. However, I did discover black mold on the ceiling above the toilet and water continuously dripped from the shower head in the shower, which I'm sure is costing a fortune for the hotel. The breakfast staff was super friendly and the breakfast was excellent. We also received two free drinks for my birthday and this is where I feel that I need to address what happened. When my boyfriend and I went to the hotel bar to redeem our drinks, the female bartender acted annoyed and immediately let us know without us asking that the drink coupons were only good for house wines, house liquors and domestic beer. There were a few hotel patrons sitting at the bar at this time. We ordered two house brandies and the bartender used a jigger to measure the liquor out for our drinks and discovered she was a little short on the second drink. She turned and asked me if that was okay to which my boyfriend asked her if she could just pour the little extra into one drink and then one of us would get something else, and we would even pay the difference. She was not happy with this, so much so that another customer asked her what the problem was to which she replied that we were getting ”free drinks”. I have been a bartender for the past 18 years and I'm still currently a bartender and talking about tips or how somebody is getting something discounted or free is something that you never do because it's unprofessional, especially talking to other customers about it. She ended up just embarrassing herself because before we came down from our room to get our drinks I had calculated a good tip for her and despite the incredibly rude service I still left the tip for her, which came out to a 25% tip if we were to have ”paid” for the drinks. MMalaika Ball PaigeThis hotel was very clean because it is a new hotel. The amenities were nice. Beautiful picture on tv and a lot of space to store your clothing. However, check in was terrible. The man at the desk was frustrated with checking us in. In the middle of checking my dad and I into our separate rooms, he decided to check in three other people. My dad and I looked at each other in disbelief that he would forget we were standing there after a crazy trip there. I had a flat tire and trying to locate somewhere close to get a tire for my car was difficult. The donut that was put on my car was flat also. So, my dad and I was exhausted by the time we got to the hotel. So, for this man to check in three other people saying we got on his nerves, was so disrespectful. I couldn’t understand the frustration when we had just got there. Maybe he needs a break. I do not know!!!😔
ผผู้เข้าพักDon’t let pictures of the outside fool you! After reading many reviews I took a chance on this place and I’m glad I did! The outside is nothing special but the inside is top tier. The lobby is nice, and the room was excellent! Everything was clean. The shower was updated to a walk in glass shower that looked brand new. The water was hot. There was a refrigerator and when I called the front desk about a microwave they brought one to my room, no problem! The A/C worked perfectly and the beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. Again, clean! Never saw a bug or anything you may be worried about staying in a lower end hotel. The only thing I’d say be prepared for is they require a $100 deposit. I wasn’t aware of that until check in. But you’ll get it back within a few days of checking out.
If you need an affordable, & clean place to stay. This is it.
Oh, and there’s a package store within walking distance for those of us who like an adult beverage to end our day. ;)
ผผู้เข้าพักWe had a great stay and experience. Our rooms were clean and the location (lake view) was gorgeous. There was something to do , on property, for everyone in our group. Ages 6-63, everyone had a great time. We will definitely be back.
The cleanliness was subpar. It looked as if it was going to be a nice hotel but it was dirt build up and all the corners. I would say they would benefit more by making sure that they take the time the thorough clean the corners and the surfaces it just felt really grimy but when we checked in it was late at night and I didn't feel up to just go to another hotel. I would say that based on the uncleanliness the hotel definitely wasn't worth $100 a night they never take a look at that reevaluate how they clean. Especially when you were doing a vacation away from home you prefer to living sleeping something that is decent. It has potential I like the pictures and the bedding appear to be clean but it's suspect for sure.
