My stay at the hotel was nothing short of relaxing from the moment I arrived. The staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Nice place and friendly stuff

The best I think at the center of davao. I always want to book this hotel but they are sold out most of the time. I like it coz they have netflix now. One thing i want them to improve is the sheets… the blankets are too thin for my liking. But overall, its the best!

The room is clean and smells good. The staffs are accomodating and kind.

The Strands was perfect for our needs. We just wanted something clean, cosy and close to the city. The staff are friendly and accommodating. They provide a simple break fast of bread and coffee, which was a nice touch. Highly recommended given the price, location and service.

Overall, offers excellent value for money. If you're looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay with a central location, friendly service, and thoughtful perks like free breakfast, I highly recommend it. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip.

our go-to place to stay when in davao and on a budget. Staff were courteous. But if you're thinking that the breakfast would be somewhat filling, it is only composed of 2 cheese pandesal and either coffee or milo.

Well, we stayed in this hotel for 4 days and it was catastrophic. First, there is no window in the room with access to fresh air. When we booked a room on trip it was written that it has a city view, I will tell you the truth it is not having any view at all. All you can see is white walls and ants chilling in the room. The window is looking to the corridor but it doesn’t provide any access to fresh air. Secondly, the bathroom is really small and you probably will face the door while doing your things. The sink is small and full of ants having bath procedures. Turning on the shower is a total quest, because it doesn’t have any signs what person is supposed to turn to make it work! Thirdly, the place itself is very loud and you won’t have any silence. We woke up several times per night and things didn’t change at all. And finally, the towels are disgustingly bad, you take shower and wipe your body with it and towel linens are sticking to your body and you are still wet:( we asked staff to provide other towels but there wasn’t any cotton towels at all. When you are leaving staff asks to leave your keys at the counter which is really suspicious. We left once and our cotton towels were taken away, I was asking staff to return them back, they did but it was very unpleasant knowing that someone opened the wardrobe without our permission We had to ask a blankets because there weren’t any in the room. AC wasn’t working properly, no fresh air so I got sick. Avoid coming to this place if you don’t want to get sick, you will be breathing the same air every day without any possibility of ventilation:( P.S. there is no lift, be prepared to carry your belongings and luggage upstairs We modified our booking to change dates and make an earlier checkout, they declined my request and didn’t refund money. I don’t know why they have such a good reviews here and on Google.

The premises are well-maintained, and the staff is quite accommodating. Furthermore, the location is conveniently situated near various restaurants, convenience stores, and malls.
