I booked a deluxe room for two nights, but after just one night, I already wanted to check out. When we arrived, they told us the room was not yet available because it still needed cleaning. However, when we finally got in, the room was still dirty. At night, there were many insects flying around inside our room, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The towels were old and shedding cotton, and the sink had many ants, which made the room feel unclean. If you don’t have a car, I would not recommend going here. We had to take a “bao bao” (tuk-tuk tricycle), which cost us 200 per peirson just to get to the resort. They don’t have enough service carts to bring guests around the resort. At the Italian restaurant, we were given a menu where about 90% of the items were not available. The staff told us it was an outdated menu, which raises the question of why it was given to us in the first place. The food also took a long time to be served, and it felt like the staff paid more attention to tables that looked wealthy, especially foreigners. The lunch buffet at the Bamboo restaurant had very limited food choices. The only positive experience we had was with one of the waiters, who was very kind and accommodating to all our requests. Kudos to her, she was the only bright spot during our stay at this resort. Also, be careful to review your credit card transactions with them. After they took my credit card for payment, they said the card reader did not work. Unfortunately, I only realized later that the transaction had actually gone through. I trusted them and did not review the final bill carefully, which I regret.

had the worst experience in this place! so disappointing i was looking forward to enjoy it with my partner turns out it's gonna be a nightmare! be better! price per night is not reasonable for your service, amenities, staffs are not kind, dirty room, tiny towels, so thin, no soap, no tissue!! we booked a prime deluxe but they put us in DELUXE ROOM!!! dirty place, mosquitoes and flies are everywhere!!! i will never come back to this place. front desk officer so rude!!! 8k per night my ass

Generally good experience even if resort looks a bit runned down and needs refurbishing. Food was good and staff were friendly. Private white sand beach and clean water was the highlight of the stay. Would be good for staff to double check amenities ahead of guest usage. Went to go trekking up their 300 step route only to find it was not kept well and pathway was blocked by fallen tree and branches a few steps at the start of the trail. Was really disappointed with this. Appreciate if management can take action on this and better care of their facilities.

Dakak Beach Resort is a beautiful destination where you can experience both nature and the sea. I enjoyed my stay. The staff were accommodating and quick to respond to our needs, and the food was absolutely delicious. The resort also offers a wonderful variety of activities to explore and facilities for guests to enjoy. While there is no such thing as a perfect resort, a few amenities could be improved; upgrading items like the TVs (to smart TVs) providing irons and ironing boards, and addressing minor issues with the toilet bowls and main door screens would make a significant difference. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I would recommend Dakak Beach Resort for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

Fab 2 nights with my daughter,the resorts is amazingly beautiful and peaceful,what I wanted for a relaxing 2 nights.staff are incredibly helpful a as always smiling at you.lots of choices with food and drinks in the beach bar are excellent .Highly recommend place to relax

3rd time visiting Dakak.

Great place to stay. Perfect beach vacation. A must place visit to relax. Me and my family will surely be back.

Very smart and loved the white sand beach and the different attractions like the zip wire canoeing and especially the valentines themed dinner

The place was okay, our room has lots of brown tiny ants and on our beds, pillows, it has maggots on the sofa, it has two worms which fell from the ceiling down to my daugther’s pillow, we checked in at around 5pm and we went somewhere & came at around 10.30 @ night to rest but these ants & maggots welcomed Us, so we waited for the housekeeper to come & changed the bedsheets on both beds and used bug sprayed then that worms came out from we don’t know where but saw it on the ceiling & on my daughter’s pillow, we called for housekeeper again and came and saw all those worms, told Us that this happened now & then in some of their rooms/cabin, because my daughter didn’t sleep, couldn’t sleep & can’t get comfortable anymore so we decided to checked out at around 4 AM and drove somewhere so my daughter could sleep in the car, It was a terrible night, our plan was to enjoy the beach after breakfast but we are so disappointed & the staff at the reception didn’t even offered to move Us to a different room. We are so disappointed for the amount of money we paid. It is not worth for the price at all.

the place is good and scenery. we have a great time stayng in the resort . i should recommned it to the other tourist

Expensive foods.

Overall experience is good.

Nice place and better spending days for a vacation .

Food is great but a bit pricey. Needs a little modernization.
