"The staff makes you feel at home immediately, helps you with arranging things in Dahab if you want. first time as a solo traveller, this was really welcome. Everyone was very helpfull and kind. It was my first dive experience and the dive centre was really good. Professional staff, good equipment and organisation. It's a nice 'basic' hotel. Don't expect a big tourist resort vibe. Because it's not so big, it feels nice and cosy. There's a swimmingpool, but if you cross the street, you can already swim in the sea! (and a beautifull reef to snorkel or dive). The room was fine, I didn't need more. Surprised to have a 'real' fridge (not a mini cooler). there's also a desk, chair, 2 closets, mirror... The daily housekeeping does a good job to keep everything clean. i was really happy with the sea view, it's worth the little extra cost. Restaurant: breakfast is a basic buffet, but they try to change little bits on some days (like falafel or bean stew) and they make fresh pancakes and ommelets on request. They have a menu with several options for dinner : it tastes good and is cheaper than in the town. good option if your exhausted after diving. if I would have to say a down point : The wifi connection was very unstable in the room. But better close to the reception/desk. But that's not the most important when you're there ;-)"

"Do not go here. The hotel is terrible, and the staff are unhelpful and unprofessional. During room cleaning, my personal belongings were thrown away, and someone moved and touched my underwear, which was left in a different place than I had arranged. In addition, for some reason one of the staff members was staying in a room next to mine. He woke me up at 00:30 by making a lot of noise, talking to someone, and playing music. When I contacted the reception, no one came or addressed the issue. I had to call three times before anyone came to deal with the situation. The food is also very poor. I got food poisoning after eating rice and beef. The weather has also been unpleasant—windy and cold—even though it is the end of March, so I have not been able to enjoy the sea. None of my missing belongings were found or returned. There was also dog feces left in a public area, which was not cleaned for several hours. If I could give negative stars, I would. This vacation has been a nightmare. P.S. After I submitted my complaint to the tour operator, the hotel administrator ran up to me and told me to pack my things and leave the hotel, adding that he did not care where I would go. Shortly afterwards, another man approached and began aggressively waving his arms in front of me. I am currently preparing a formal complaint to the tour operator. If there is no response from the tour operator, I will escalate the matter by contacting the Ministry of Tourism of Egypt as well as the European Consumer Centre."

"I had a great stay at Nasima Resort with my friends. The location is excellent, right on the beach with a relaxing atmosphere and beautiful views. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The resort offers good value, nice amenities, and easy access to cafés and activities nearby. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I’d happily stay there again."

"Excellent location, near restaurants, beach and dive centers. Wonderful, friendly, and accomodating staff, which in my experience make this hotel rise above other hotels. Rooms are kept clean, beds are hard (which I prefer), and towels are creatively done as art work every day. Rich breakfast including on-order-made pancakes and omelettes. Pool area is calm but shared with neighbour hotel and therefore sometimes crowded."

"We had a fabulous week at Sheikh Ali. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are huge, very clean and comfortable. The fresh breakfast was a highlight and served on the beautiful terrace. The pool area was lovely and the kids spent many happy hours there. The location is very peaceful but close to all that Dahab has to offer (snorkelling/diving/lovely restaurants/camel rides/horse riding, the list goes on). We will definitely be back! Thank you Sherif and all the staff "
