อินเวอร์ดราน เฮาส์

After a bad day where we thought we may have to bring our west highland way walk to an early end due to a bruised heel, we arrived at Inverardran Guest House early. John could not have been more welcoming. Everything you would expect from a great family run business. Home baked shortbread in the room, plenty of hot water, a comfortable bed and a tasty Scottish breakfast with homemade jam. Would definitely recommend.

At late notice, due to a road closure, John welcomed me in without any fuss. Great views from my bedroom window, very comfy bed, fabulous shower and even more fabulous brekky. They have a 9/10 rating for good reason. Highly recommend a visit.

As the house was fully booked we had the little s/c cottage for the night. John gave us a warm welcome before showing us our accommodation for the night. No frills but fully equipped and spotless with a very comfortable bed and sofa. Only slight downside was that the shower and wc were downstairs, not so good at night for the ancient! But then we were very fortunate to be there. Into the house for breakfast, Red Squirrels skipping off in all directions before we reached the door. John sat us down, his usual cheerful self, to a delicious breakfast, made even more interesting by Coal Tits and the returned Red Squirrels feasting on theirs' at the window. I like Inverardran and John very much, the cooked breakfasts are superb, the position is beautiful among the mountains and conveniently situated just off the A82 North - South road. Other guests at breakfast with us were walking the West Highland Way, so convenient for the energetic too. I very much hope to return next year.

My partner and I stayed at the B&B for 4 nights whilst we were hiking in the local area. John and his wife were great and attentative hosts. The full Scottish breakfast and porridge were consistently very good, with cereals, yoghurts and homemade (delicious) jams also on offer. Red squirrels and birds could be seen from the dining area every morning on the many feeders. We stayed in the smaller double which was more than sufficient for two of us. There was room to store one large suitcase in the wardrobe and space under the bed for a second, if needed. The room itself was very tidy and came with a good supply of tea/coffee/hot chocolate, along with plenty of homemade shortbreads. The room was serviced every other day and offered a lovely view of the countryside from the window. There are two restaurants within a 15 minute walking distance and plenty more within a 15 minute drive. A great B&B to stay in, both with the great accommodation and central location. We would happily stay here again.

Recently decorated and renovated rooms with a warm welcome from John who is the most attentive host you could ask for. Homemade shortbread biscuits on arrival and a great breakfast. Will return if in the area and will recommend to others. It's made our last west highland way days far easier with rested bodies!

I just wanted to thank the owner, this was absolutely a wonderful stay we had here at you B&B. The Owner is friendly, the location is quiet an breakfast was excellent. If we ever plan another trip to Scotland we will definitely come back. Greetings from Luxembourg 🙂
