Had a good experience with the family . I was not able to access the sauna and gym facility .

Curtains were undersized for the room so was woken up at around 05:00 by daylight light coming through did complain the night before and in the morning was informed that someone would come up to have a look but no body turned up

Amazing place with a lovely view, but not very comfortable. For example pillows are not very fluffy. The pool is ok, of course you have to pay £4 for each session. I think that add some slippers for pool is very necessary.

Attending a wedding here, the hotel itself was dated. There was hardly any attention to detail and dirty. The staff were useless, apart from one male receptionist who tried his hardest to accommodate however no other employee would support him and therefore he ultimately could not help. Overall this would be a last resort hotel to use when passing . Expect nothing special and no customer service. If you need a roof over your head and a bed, This is the bog standard.

Nice relaxing place, beautiful garden. Only issue I had no water available at night. Vending machine cash only. Rest of hotel card only. Reception staff were not helpful. Could not offer a glass of water. Disappointed.

My room was in the lovely manor house building. Ideally located, peaceful garden to relax. On my list when next travelling this way!

It’s a cheap stay. Don’t go with the expectation of getting much for what yr paying. It is very much in need of updating. Staff are all polite, rooms are basic but oka

Reasonable room rates, room clean , water hot in bath/shower-food was extremely tasty, and excellent value for money for both evening meal and breakfast. Weather was hot and only improvement would have been to keep complimentary water/juice in foyer topped up as no cool water or drinks available in room.

The Grounds are lovely but the Hotel lacks a little TLC apart from that a very good value stay

The hotel is very very good. Location is great, rooms are nice and cozy, you get shower gels, hand soaps included. Parking is large and always space. For the price I will definetly be back. Don’t look at the other reviews that say this is a bad place. As soon as I walked in it’s an antique luxury feel. Corridors are slightly outdated but rooms got a big tv, comfy beds, new bathrooms. My tv remote didn’t work unfortunately. But customer service is great aswell. Definitely be coming back when I’m here

Always stay here when in the area. Comfortable and reliably good hotel

It’s a huge hotel used for conferences and weddings. The corridor carpets and decor looked tired, however I was pleasantly surprised by the recently refurbished room. Nice fresh decor, and new carpet, fridge, Bosch coffee maker, large screen TV, iron, ironing board and trouser press. There’s a pool and leisure centre there also, although I didn’t have time to check that out. Plenty of parking as well. Don’t expect to get a lay in though, there was quite a bit of noise from people in the corridor from about 6:30 with guests from coach parties and workmen up an off early and cleaning staff talking at normal volume outside the door. Check out is also before 10am. Worth the £45.56 it cost me though.
