Always polite and welcoming. The 3rd floor pool vibe was fun although, they could use more than a wait staff in the summer. They need someone to straighten chairs and get rid of discarded towels & manage the space to look fresher. The many highlights for us are the great rooms with floor to ceiling windows, comfy beds & fabulous in-room coffee makers. The Illy Cafe, bar and gelato shop is the BEST breakfast in town. The food is excellent. Jazmin, Andrew and Angela are amazing servers. So polite. The rosemary coffee cake and brioche French toast are my favs. The best bar tender and server around is Shannon Taylor. That girl is gregarious, polite, knowledgable about local life and she HUSTLES! Bravo!!!
I stayed here four night while on a business trip. The hotel is impeccably clean, the rooms updated, the fitness room was well equipped. The breakfast area is large and stocked with everything you could imagine. They even had breakfast to go bags that I saw multiple families taking advantage of for their young children. When I checked out I told the front desk that this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at, and that I travel monthly for business. Little did I know my interaction with them wasn’t over yet. I realized going through security at the airport that I left the sweatshirt I planned to wear hanging in the closet of my hotel room. I called and asked if I could pay to have it shipped to my home. While I had plenty of time before my flight, I didn’t have enough time to go back and forth to the hotel. They not only retrieved my sweatshirt from my room, but the general manager brought it to me at the airport before my flight. He wouldn’t accept my tip. When insisted, he said he would give it to the housekeeping staff. What great service, and what a great manager. Look no further if you need a place to stay in the Clayton, MO area.
The service was the worst, we needed today some towels since we only had one clean for the four of us (me, my husband and my two kids (6-4yrs)). I called front desk to get some towels and never sent anyone. Then I was going down for breakfast (8:40am, it ends at 9am) and found the housekeeper on my way and asked her nicely if she could send my husband the towels to the room; her response was that she starts working at 9am and that I could get those on the front desk. We ended up using ONE towel for the four of us. Everyone seems angry here, the rooms are not clean, the bathroom in the lobby dirty. Breakfast is not really good, yesterday there were no plates, and no one really wants to help you!! I am really mad, next time I rather rent an airbnb, where I can help my self, and solve everything
