The eating area is filthy and I was told that they cannot make omelettes as they had run out of ingredients.

I absolutely love this hotel. The location is perfect for walking to restaurants and shops. The hotel food choices are also excellent, as are the swimming pools and gym. The reason I am writing this review, however, is for the staff. Every member I encountered went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. It is a great place: old-school China luxury.
I asked for a non smoking room but someone had smoked in the room. Bed is rock hard, pillow is way too soft. Closet has a big draw that leave no room for hanging clothes. Plenty of restaurants and shops near by.
