My family of 4 stayed for two nights and we loved it! Its easy to find and well located for all the area has to offer. It's clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and efficient. The free breakfast is very good and the parking easy peasy. Highly recommend!
We booked this hotel for my son’s wedding with a group rate & our family and friends booked 15 rooms. My son & his wife arranged and paid an additional $250 to keep the bar open till 1 am and we were told the outside courtyard and fire pits would be available for us. Immediately upon return to the hotel at 11pm, the manager informed us that the courtyard was closed. Every time anyone went out to the courtyard, he promptly told them they got noise complaints and insisted we leave & remain in the hotel lobby. This was very disappointing as it was a beautiful night and the guys wanted to smoke cigars and celebrate the marriage. Beside that, the venue was clean & the staff ( beside the manager) were very helpful and pleasant. If you pay extra for the courtyard, get it in writing! We will be requesting our $250 back!
Disappointing facility with friendly staff. Problems with a frequently flushing toilet were brought to front desk attention over our 3 night stay. The problem was never resolved. Our room was only ”cleaned” once during the stay, and we were left without toilet paper, tissues and drinking cups. The seating in the breakfast area is worn out and unappealing. We were partially compensated for the shortcomings, but would have preferred to pay the full price and avoid problems.
The girl working the front desk seemed young and inexperienced and from my understanding they were aware of wedding afterparties as several bride and grooms staying on property meant multiple wedding guests staying as well overnight after their respective wedding receptions were held nearby on a Saturday night, thus giving the hotel many bookings as rooms were blocked out for their out-of-town guests to which I was one. I am unsure if permission was granted or not to be fair but seeing that all the wedding parties from different weddings staying at the hotel all seemed to have the same plan to hang out in the lobby afterwards I would have to assume at the very least the property and the person working the front desk should have been prepared knowing they booked several separate weddings on the same night. In my opinion, they did not possess the experience to handle it professionally. Instead everyone was yelled at, the front desk girl was on the verge of tears and we were all told to go to our rooms as if we were being punished like a child and even at one point she threatened with the police being called as she threw a fit. If it was too loud in the lobby I still don't understand how telling people to go to their rooms closer to other guests would solve the noise issue or even as we were told to go freeze outside by the firepits the loudness would still carry to other guests' windows outside. I don't know what the solution is going forward, perhaps offering a separate room off of the lobby area may be viable, but I know our bride was very annoyed by it all and I would never book this chain if I was having out of town guests or to give a good amount of business to be treated like that for my wedding night. It was very unprofessionally handled and took what should have ended as an amazing celebration of love and union and friendship as people just instead left upset and brides were sent outside to freeze. The firepits offered very little warmth and since it was also very windy could have also caused a fire with people getting too close to try and warm up.
Very quiet! Was on the first floor far from the lobby. Bed was a little firmer than I like. Room showed its age but was clean. There are a number of restaurants within a mile or so and a Walmart not too far either. Breakfast is grab & go.
This is Marriot? No where close to Marriot standards, or at least what used to be. The only great thing about this place was the front desk clerk, she was as helpful as she could be. We reserved a 2 bedroom suite, even checked in online and had confirmed check in. When we arrived at the hotel the clerk said they over booked our room, to 4 different families! The clerk said the Asst Manager had just left her to deal with all of the soon to be angry guests. Our only choice was a king studio, When I confirmed the room had a fireplace she said ”but they don't come with fire logs”. Fireplaces with no firewood, what is the point? The parking lot was dirty & clearly unkept, several questionable people lurking and hanging out in the parking lot. There was even a condom on the sidewalk in the parking lot (I have a photo of it but will spare you). The hotel had hours to call me and inform me of the room mistake, no attempt was made for any communication. This property is very outdated and I would never have thought it was a Marriot. So far, of all the money I have paid to be a gold elite member of Marriot, I'm highly disappointed in their service, from Europe to the US.
I always come stay when I visit my family. I live in New Jersey not far from Atlantic City so I can’t drive home every other weekend. Staying at extended stay is like being home and the staff help me feel like home. I always get the same room or one close to the elevator. The one thing I don’t like is dogs so the manager makes sure I’m far from them. Thank-you
