I specifically booked here because of the pool, for my toddler who loves water. Although I recieved at least 5 messages before my check in date about the brand new fitness center they omitted any mention about the state of the pool. It was an indoor pool but it was FREEZING, the loungers were broken and the floor grimy and cracked. We did our best but it was just too unbearable, then someone at the front desk suggested that it was under repair and thats why it was so cold but I could not get a straight answer when I asked them about the temperature. False advertising- if your pool is broken say so, dont mislead guests. Further, our first night it was LOUD, the walls and doors are so thin that we heard our loud neighbors still partying until 3am, after driving for 3 hours we were exhausted and wanted to SLEEP. They claimed there was a quiet hour policy after 10PM but despite calling down to reception the noise continued. After an awful first night of barely sleeping, I went down to the reception to complain, they comped our breakfast as a gesture and then I realized all the people behind me in line also had complaints and were getting ”vouchers” comped. It was just disappointing and I told them I would not book there again, honestly not worth the nearly $600 we spent for a 3 night stay ...
We had business event for 150+ people and everything was amazing! Melanie was extremely helpful through the booking process and I cannot speak highly enough about Amir and his team! Bernadette, Ramy, Eldo, Desiree and Haidy were very accommodating to any request we had and truly made it a perfect event! If you are looking for a place to book for an event, look no further - the Westin Mount Laurel is the best around!
My mom and I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks, and we cut our stay short due to an incident that happened at our door room. A skittish man, who apparently was not a guest at the hotel, had free access to the hallways and was standing at our door for around 10 minutes. Anyway, it was such a scary situation, and the hotel manager did not take the situation seriously after we had reported the incident three times at the front desk. On top of that, we found out there aren't any cameras in the hallway. Do they really take security that seriously as he said? The only positive thing about the hotel was the outstanding service we got from the front desk employees, such as Michael, Tammy, and Rebecca to mention a few.
A nice place to stay got better with the recent refresh and far better than the neighboring Hyatt House rat trap. Rooms have been redone and have a fresh new look. Breakfast seems adequate (did not partake). Attentive staff, good Nespresso shots available for purchase. Beds were comfortable, and the rooms were quiet between the walls. However, the noise in the hallways did carry, as there were some rambunctious people there at a wedding. One persona had their wheels stolen off of their car in broad daylight. Not sure how that happened, but there are no security cameras outside. Keep that in mind. This was probably an opportunistic crime and not reflective of the area which is largely office park, right off of Route 73.
Very nice. Great rooms. Jesse at the front desk was outstanding. He helped with our reservation before we arrived, restaurant recommendations and smooth, easy checkout. It makes a real difference to have professional and friendly staff.
