On our 12 day Texas road trip we stayed in 7 hotels, some 4 and 5 star. This was our favourite! The reception staff had a little difficulty with our reservations but sorted the problem with no fuss and we were made welcome. The rooms were enormous and no issues at all with cleanliness. The pool area was good and we enjoyed the hot tub but best of all was breakfast. It was not the biggest buffet in the world but it was what I would call 'honest' and well maintained and it offered healthy alternatives to the usual fried stuff, waffles and pancakes. It's close to Main St and parking is free, no complaints whatsoever. Suggest you fix the sign on the wall. It currently reads Holida press :)
PPioneer66497543386We took a chance, based on the incredibly LOW price for a king-room, and were simply amazed! The location is a few blocks off of Main Street, so for those not wanting to walk a mile to see downtown, be prepared to drive or take an Uber. The entire establishment was immaculate, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay!
RRoving50980626148I read the negative comments after I booked 2 rooms , I almost canceled my reservation but I decided to give it a try . The office has a string smell hard to describe. But our rooms were very nice! Clean, nice looking , bed/pillows very comfortable. Bathroom clean, everything was good. We will stay again .
RRon BThe cost is not worth the stay. It's a basic room, as expected. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just okay. Housekeeping was a major issue here. They made the bed - great, but couldn't sweep the floor. Pillows smelled of sweat. Don't know if I'd go back
