I had to book this hotel because I conference I'm attending was hosted by this place. When I came to the checkout automatically I was turned off by the aloofness of the staff The front desk is quite bizarre when I ask them if water was in the room there was no direct answer but rather a way to dodge the question. Of course there was no water in the room not only that there was no microwave! Fast forward in the room one of the closets is locked which I thought was strange and suspicious when the safe didn't work and I had to get security to come to help I asked them about that and they said it's because the owners of the unit locked it so that gave me a tip off that this is not really a hotel but more of a condo which is rented out and it's being marketed as a hotel. In addition to this there is no room service If I wanted my room cleaned and serviced in any way I'd have to pay extra parking is also included if you park outside which is a 5-minute walk away and it's mostly occupied by the neighboring Lodge called the Grand Lodge and they give you a hard time if you park in it. I found the whole place a bit stifling and honestly I don't think I would stay here again I don't think this is an actual hotel but rather a co-op or HOA of some kind that is being branded as a hotel but not sacrificing anything on the price. The other kicker was one of the front desk agents, named Stephanie, called me to say that I had to move my car because of an upcoming storm. When I inquired about the storm she was very condescending and would not give me any information more information besides to say that I'm just calling to tell you to move your car. This is the kind of service you can expect at this place. Anyway because of the storm I left early because I didn't want to deal with getting stuck in this hell hole. This is a one-and-done for me
