I am absolutely fed up of substandard 3star hotels trying to pass themselves off as 4 star hotels and in this case a five star resort. It's an absolute joke. It should barely be a three star hotel so I'm not entirely sure who is grading these facilities. The room was tiny, dated and absolutely filthy. The windows looked like they hadn't been cleaned in 12 months, and this was also the case with the windows in the corridors. The shower was covered in mould and the shower head looked like you would get a disease from it. Because of this we chose not to shower in THREE DAYS. My son (who we paid full price for because he is 10), had to sleep on a tiny, rock hard sofa bed in the room. The whole room was dated. My 'Garden View with Partial Sea View' was a building site outside and the tiniest view of the sea you could imagine. Poolside is filthy and the cushions on the sunbeds are stained all over and dirty, it's gross. Dinner time is manic. There are not enough staff in the dining area to keep the tables clean and therefore we had to search and wait for a clean table. It resembles a school canteen, with children running wild, queues everywhere and rude guests that don't queue. The only thing this hotel has going for it are the few members of staff who give great service. There were a couple poolside who, if you gave them a daily tip, would keep coming to you to refresh your drinks. I was so miserable and fed up that we had to move hotels completely and check out. I would avoid this hotel like the plague if I were you, there are much, much nicer hotels around the area.

So we’ve come to visit out of season so not as busy as some others have found this place to be so I can’t compare. It’s a little away from places but a short walk to what you need, cabs outside and shuttle bus available. Overall I’ve been very happy with my stay, the staff are nice, shout out to the guy in the gift shop very cool and with a good selection of gifts and necessities on offer. The people selling excursions are pretty friendly, can be a bit persistent but I’m not mad at it as it’s their job. The bar staff, front desk, cleaners and people in the dining room deserve a mention too, very polite and attentive. I can’t speak for the animation team as I didn’t watch or get involved but they seem to be enjoying themselves and I didn’t hear a bad word against them. As for the hotel itself and the rooms, is it a bit dated, yes, could certain things be fixed and replaced, of course but nowhere is perfect and you get what you pay for. My room was cleaned everyday, bed made, towels replaced, bin emptied, nice touch I left my shorts that I sleep in on the bed and they were folded nicely into a little design (pretty nice touch). Wi-Fi was hit and miss but I came away to not be stuck on my phone all day, I could understand to entertain some of the kids who might want to watch YouTube or scroll social media it could be annoying but enjoy the amenities and put the devices down. The pool area and the gardens are nice, looked pretty clean and well taken care of, the bars were alright, all inclusive I’m not expecting top shelf liquor so what I got did the job. The food is alright I won’t complain it catered to all tastes, I’m a picky eater and still enjoyed. Would I come back? For sure, for what I paid it’s been a fun and enjoyable holiday Bonus if you like cats there’s a few around the place and they’re super chill
