I stayed 3 nights at the Gomerino. The hotel staff is absolutely fabulous. They help you in all you need instantly.
The staff is 5 star, very kind professionals. The view from the roof top terrace is exceptional, the best view in Valletta. The terrace is incredible.
Unfortunately the room is not reaching my expectations. It’s just very noisy. Every single foot step from above can be heard in your room. So at night and in the morning I felt very disturbed and uncomfortable because of this. I had to call reception several times to ask the above guest to keep it quiet at night. The room is very dark and just not for my taste. The bed was ok I asked a double bed but they supplied my with 2 single mattresses put together.
Thank you for the staff you were fabulous.
It was simply perfect ! The hotel is beautiful, central with the terrace of your dreams ! Thank you to all the staff of the hotel who was lovely! The 3 reception staff was incredibly kind, helpful and made us feel at home. The breakfast team was perfect to start the day with and the restaurant waiters made the evenings very pleasant (to the Argentinian waiter, the recommended oil and sfogliata were wonderful - I couldn't wait the evening, and thank you for the jazz recommendation which I hope we can try next time!). And most importantly, thank you to the incredible room service team who made wonders everyday in a record time.
I seldom post a review for the hotels I stayed but my experience with Merlior Boutique hotel had left such an indelible experience that I must leave a good review. This strategically located hotel is very convenient as it’s along the main shopping district of Republic street but it is not noisy at all in our room. Very good and delicious Starbucks breakfast is provided if you select to have it included. Toiletries are from Loccitane which is impressive. Room is extremely comfortable and it’s just at the right temperature even when it’s winter time. Had really a lovely time staying at this incredible boutique hotel and I highly recommend it to anyone considering it when you visit Valletta.
PPhotoguyThe hotel was in a great location, pretty much in between both “islands” that you want to visit. It was also right by all the main food streets and foot traffic areas.
The breakfast is normal, and they will make you a coffee of your liking to order.
You have espresso and water in the room, and the wifi is nice and strong.
The rooms were a touch hot for my taste, even with the heat off. The rooms could benefit from a overhead fan or an in room fan to plug in, but that’s my only suggestion.
Great hotel, 100% recommend.
MMartinFabulous in every way, over the top service and friendly, helpful staff. This is the best option by far for a hotel adjacent to the main sights of Valletta and it is literally across the street from the central bus station which will get you all over the island of Malta. Perhaps my best 5 star hotel experience ever.
ผผู้เข้าพักGreat hotel & location, with a few excellent dining options. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. We stayed 3 days - although on our first day we couldn’t use the rooftop sun lounging area/bar and pool due to a private function which was a shame as we wanted to relax and use the hotel facilities having travelled all morning. The hotel is located right in the centre which meant it can be noisy outside if you have a room at the front and church Bells ring for hours on a Sunday morning from before 7am. Otherwise the perfect stay.
ผผู้เข้าพักLovely boutique hotel conveniently located in the heart of Valetta. We were greeted with a warm welcome. All the staff were so friendly and polite. My room was very spacious, modern and comfortable. Appreciated all the extra toiletries and facilities in the room. Breakfast on the sunny terrace was a delight and much more bountiful than expected. I couldn't fault this hotel. Top marks to all the staff.
JJoyce AyalaThis is very well located, they had a little closet to keep our bags until we checked in at 1500 and then we where also avail to use it after we checked out while we got breakfast before heading to the airport. The apartment had a small potable AC that tried its best but the Malta heat can be a lot, when we asked for a fan they where very quick. They responded super fast to any questions we had and spoke the language. I didn’t catch the female workers name but she was super sweet and accommodating. She said she was from Colombia . Overall I would stay here again but it’s definitely a place to crash in between activities. Keep your expectations low and you’ll enjoy it.
