We got here after a long drive, and Jackie greeted us with a very, very warm welcome! Definetly made us feel at home after such a long journey. The rooms are very large and cozy, and come with a tv. I would definitely recommend this travellodge to others, as the staff were very kind and very helpful and the rooms were lovely!!
We arrived late in the day to be greeted by the reception team they were very helpful. The room (14) was very basic and it was not very clean. The bathroom had lots of long dark hairs in the bath and sink with no cleaning stuff to sort out. We had 2 single beds which were adequate, both clean and comfortable. Location great just needs a really good clean
I would not recommend at all, I have tried many times to contact hotel and no reply ******* tried to call them and same. I needed to cancel my 2 nights as I became ill, once I finally got through the person on the phone was rude and just kept telling me no manager I didn't even ask for a manager. ******* had sent them an e mail so I was calling to ask them to respond he just repeated no manager then put the phone down on me!! I tried and ******* over 3 days by phone and e mail and no joy. ******* have now stated they have not successfully had authorisation from a manger and the hotel is going to charge me £115!!! I was really hoping this was going to be a good place to stay as I stay in bangor every other week for work and spend alot on hotels. I can't comment on the hotel itself but going off the communication I have had with them don't expect a good welcoming experience. The staff I spoke to are rude and the is apparently never a manager there.
we we were with a coach party, Crosskeys. and had a lovely time here, warm welcome, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. the rooms were spacious and clean and tidy and well looked after during our stay. and the views were good. the food for breakfast and dinner was good and plenty to choose from. the hotel itself was spotless, and nothing was any trouble to the staff to make our stay enjoyable. we did think the price for blackcurrant and water steep, at £1.75 a pint. we only paid 45p a pint in Scotland, we had a disabled room, but the toilet seat was low for my wife, and no grab handles in the shower, our only fault, but overall it was a lovely holiday from monday to friday. would love to go back there again and explore more of the area. stunning scenery.
Group of 10 arrived on the 24th May - 26th The journey to the hostel was bumpy but the views were worth it. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised with the car parking spaces. We met a lovely lady who greeted us in, explained facilities & reminded us that the car parking spaces are limited but free of charge. Facilities - The building is clean, spacious and well ventilated. The rooms are small and basic, however it’s extremely clean. Communal kitchen & lobby area made it feel super homely. Toilet & bathroom are separate, super basic but clean! Breakfast - the continental breakfast was basic. Three cereal options, bread & mini croissants. Yogurt and fruit. Can’t go wrong, bargain. The full English was overpriced, I’m a vegetarian so felt the options were limited. The coffee was fantastic. Clean and lovely. Bar - plenty of cold drinks available. Location - fantastic. 6 minute walk to local shops, 10 mins to Snowdon. Perfect location. Overall I’d return. Thank you for making our stay perfect. We travelled from Slough & completed the Snowdon challenge on behalf of our children’s ward so we are very glad we had a pleasant stay. Amina Bostan
A fantastic meal , great service and a warm welcome the minute we walked through the door. We were very looked after by Adam, a super friendly & polite chap that clearly loves his job. He's a great ambassador for the Victoria hotel. I enjoyed a deliscous steak cooked to perfection and from our seat by the window were able to watch the sailing ships on the Menai strait.
Very good welcome at this hotel. There isn't a lift but we were offered assistance. Our room was lovely ,on the second floor .It was spacious with a bay window .The bed was large and comfortable .There was a good en-suite with overhead shower in the bath. They had a very interesting dinner menu with an Italian touch. We shared salt an chilli squid for starters and then my partner had porchetta and I had sage roasted chicken, the food was very good as was the service. As it was at breakfast
