Have stayed at this Hotel before and was not disappointed with my recent stay. Greeted with a smile on arrival and request for room with walk-in shower granted straight away with the explanation that it was at the rear of the Hotel and no sea view which was fine by me. Room clean and plenty of space and comfortable bed. All inclusive meals were fine, plenty of choice but not always hot which is the way it is in Spain. Plenty of drinks options, the only down side being the coffee. Entertainment not as good as b efore. Plenty of sun beds available on the roof and pool always quiet. Would certainly recommend.
On previous visits to Albir we had stayed at a seafront hotel and in a beautiful apartment. This time we stayed at Rober Palas on a cricket tour, as the hotel had been recommended by the local club. The location is good, in a quiet side street yet very close to Avenida Albir with its restaurants, and just about walking distance from the seafront. Check-in was quick (we arrived after the main group). However, when I saw the room, which was very basic, and the bathroom which was truly awful, I wanted to go elsewhere straight away. We stayed only because of the group. The room was extremely basic with virtually no amenities. The beds were not bad, though. The bathroom was a relic from the previous century. Getting in and out of bathtub (the shower was inside the tub) was quite hazardous, because of the design, and my partner slipped and fell on one occasion. The water temperature was extremely difficult to regulate, it was either boiling hot or very cold. The fittings on the tub were very shabby. And the provided 'toiletries' consisted of tiny sachets of the cheapest shower gel. The breakfast room was in the basement, and the buffet was at the low end of average. Not much choice for vegetarians, so we usually just had some muesli, a banana, and a slice of toast (or a croissant if they weren't stale). The coffee from the machine was pretty awful and watery, so I switched to tea. The staff were quite pleasant. The bar on the ground floor is pretty non-descript, service ok, nothing special, but there are some outdoor tables. I had been looking forward to the pool area which looked nice in the hotel photos but turned out to be a building site. I hope that has changed by now. After all this criticism I have to say, that prices were less than we had paid for the other hotel or the apartment. My expectations were probably too high, so taking into consideration that this is a budget place I have rated this hotel 'average' rather than 'poor'.
We booked this last min without expectations. We arrived late because storm Darragh caused issues!!! We made it in one piece thankfully. We were greeted with water but the kitchen was closed but it was late and they had some snacks for the all inclusive guests. Our apartment was small but very clean and very nice. The beds aren’t the most comfy but adequate, the tv worked and the shower was basic but nice. They have amazing food here I cannot fault it. Something for everyone. Although by the outdoor pools are shut now because it’s off season they have a nice small heated pool and hot tub and sauna. You have to wear a swim cap tho. They’re 4 euros each or the shop over the road sells them. They also have a gym which is basic but great. Our toilet wasn’t working and they sent a plumber immediately. The other guests were noisy but that’s because there were things going on in the area. The staff were great but Manel was excellent. He was very engaging and planned quiz nights and Bingo as well as other entertainment. The magician was the highlight. I was in stitches. Also pablo bloom was very good. I would highly recommend this place. The public transport is cheap and reliable and the taxis all speak English and are very reasonable. Altea old town is a must if you’re visiting. Lots of old cobble streets and beautiful buildings. It’s my last night tonight and I’m going to a Cuba bar for salsa dancing. Great way to top off the holiday. Thanks Albir Garden resort my son loved it especially the pool tables and the racing game. We said we’ll definitely be back. Muchas gracias ❤️
We just spent 5 days at the Grand Luxor resort and village, what a hidden gem. We stayed in one of the two bed villas, it was beautifully peaceful and quiet, amazing views from the upstairs balcony overlooking the towns skyline which was only a 10 minute taxi ride. It was immaculately clean, and had everything we needed in the kitchen, free high speed wi-fi, 3 TVs in the villa all with UK channels. Air conditioning, A helpful and friendly housekeeping team that could not do enough for you. We had our own small pool that was cleaned daily, perfect to cool off.. there were also 5 other lovely pools on the villa complex. The hotel resort and grounds were very well kept, again very clean with two large pool areas, the hotel was modern and finished to a high standard and always smelt lovely. A vast selection for breakfast so something for everyone. The villa was perfect for us, before the start of the season, so peaceful and quiet just what we wanted. The hotel would be ideal for children and families as it has so many facilities and so close to Terra Mitica with free tickets into the theme park. We will definitely be going back.

BBailey177After coming to Benidorm for over 16 years this was our first stay at GHB Posidonia, the checking in system was so efficient, all done via WhatsApp and the room card was left at reception, it couldn’t have been any easier.! The Apartments are snug but perfectly equipped for two people, the layout has been extremely well thought out with a table that slides away to give you maximum space, the shower was always hot and easy to use and the bed was very comfortable! For us the best asset to this Apartment was the quietness, the rooms are completely soundproofed we couldn’t hear any other guests and even though we were out over New Year couldn’t hear street noise or fireworks! There is a Washing Machine and Tumble dryer on the 5th floor for everyone’s use, we had Netflix on the telly and a bedding change and fresh towels during our 9 day stay! In fact these apartments are pretty hard to fault and we will definitely stay again!
Excellent service throughout, looked after my family amazingly, the restaurant staff couldn't do enough for my disabled father, in a wheelchair. Permanently reserved our table for 6, staff were very attentive superbly managed by Jacinta. Food was always great and tasty and bar staff throughout the hotel work extremely hard. Entertainment was superb on 2 bars. Will always come back.
ผผู้เข้าพักRooms are a little dated but You get a free safe in the rooms, saves you messing about with leaving a deposit at reception which most hotels do. You have to keep your door pass with you at all times because you won’t be able to use the lift or access the pool area. we was on the second floor so we didn’t need to use the lift. The breakfast was really nice, the evening meals was themed nights but there was something for everyone Always sunbeds available. We was lucky enough to get a pool view that we didn’t ask for so that was a bonus. Close to the ***** and beach. Would recommend.
Great to be back again in this fab fab hotel. Staff so welcoming, I arrived late morning and left my case then got a call 1230 to say room ready! Brilliant! I like the rooms overlooking Gin Street! Great to people watch but it's a lovely area anyway. Location is so ideal for the many restaurants, gin bars (!), bars in the square and side streets, tapas alley (a must visit!) and several side road to the beach gets you there in a few mins walk. Rooms are cleaned to very high standard my cleaning lady was a diamond! The whole hotel has a very clean feel about it and many great attributes. Fab sun terrace roof overlooking the sea. Great bar facing gin street which serve the most amazing daiquiris! New this year is an adjoining tapas type bar at the rear of hotel with separate entrance or you can walk through by reception. It is absolutely wonderful. called Hop Cerveza. I had a fab club sandwich here on the day of the downpour (!) but had 2 amazing evening tapas dinners here. I chose to have breakfast as at only a few euros extra is worth it. Always something on with good choice to vary your selection each day. For 12 euro you can have a buffet style evening dinner here. Again decent choice and handy if your day runs late and like me you don't like to eat too late so no waiting at restaurants for courses. Hopefully back again next year same week as this one ! Thanks to all esp check in, the bar staff (Mr Daiquiri!) and the fab girls at Hop Cerveza!
Lovely clean hotel with very friendly staff, they could not do enough for you.I would recommend you pay the extra for a sea view room, great to people watch while waiting to go out.The breakfast was great, plenty of choice for a small hotel. This hotel is situated right in the centre of the old town and directly facing the beach. They have some lovely restaurants right next to the hotel, and tapas alley is a 5 min walk away. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so transport and hop on ,hop off bus is convenient.I would recommend this hotel for location.
3 stars? Should be at least 4 Excellent bed linen. No heavy, scratchy blankets, but instead we got lovely soft fleecy throws. Roomy terrace. Terrace got the sun until well into the late afternoon, loads of room to relax and read or sunbathe. Brilliant shower. Pressure of shower was great. So often the water is a trickle when abroad but this was a great shower. Food was VERY Spanish, which is absolutely fine but due to gut issues I am a restricted eater, I did always find something but pickings were slim some nights. Perhaps some more options could be offered. The food that was there was of a very high quality. Great location, not far from amenities and the beach. Thank you Montesol, would definitely recommend ⭐
Visited benidorm many times to different hotels , Only came here due to the tv program and my granddaughters wishes. I had read the reviews and wasn't expecting too much. Firstly there wasn't a large amount of people queuing but it took 1.5 hours to check in . There are 5 lifts ,one of which broke down while we were in it ,one gentleman rattled there door and got it working again telling me it does it all the time. They are clearly tired . We was put on the 13th floor facing the main pool. On entering the room ,that's where the problems started . The room was small for a family room and was a struggle for us ,we only had 1 child with us. The child's bed was stuck in a corner but didn't fit so it had to put at a angle or you couldn't get past. The room was clearly not designed for 3 beds. There was a few broken items including air con adjuster .I got the air con to work by shoving a match in the hole. The room was just tired and needs modernising. The pool area is great ,the staff are great and keep everyone entertained but you still have the normal people queuing at 7am when the pool dosn't open till 9, No chance of getting a sunbed after 10 am , You also need to aware there is a lot of Spanish and are treated differently by the staff ,complaints go there way ,one occasion a knife was pulled out by a Spanish visitor to warn a English off, when reported nothing was done . If you are a smoker there is a small area for you too smoke ,makes you feel segregated but turned out to be ok really. You cannot eat food in the sunbeds . There is one restaurant and the food choice is pretty limited and not always warm ,worst I had in spain
