PpornphunWe booked a family room and enjoyed the design and cleanliness of our room. There was enough space for the four of us. The lobby is cute and you can have coffee in the little coffee area behind the reception. My husband who took summer jobs when he was growing up in Italy showed the manager how to properly use her fancy coffee machine. ☕️😅 We found breakfast around the corner in a local place but looks like Nirvana next door was serving good western fare.
HHye JinBooked the 3-person room. I've stayed at Snow Mountain Inn before, and it's conveniently located (short walk from the monastery, but away from crowded areas). Cafe/restaurant downstairs will do room service. Friendly staff. Beds are a little on the firmer side.
ผผู้เข้าพักOur family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights and we booked the standard room and family room on the 2nd floor with the view of the mountains. We drove a car and there are plenty of parking available. Our host is very friendly and helpful in providing us with tips on exploring the area. We had some issues with the heated floors and the bathroom draining during our stay but he was responsive and addressed the issues promptly. The amenities were basic but reasonable given the location. There is no breakfast available but the nearest restaurant is just a 5 minute walk down the hill.
I'd highly recommend a stay here if you are visiting!
DDaniela KisiThe hotel is well located near shops and restaurants. The place is clean and comfortable. The check-in was not very smooth as they scanned every single page of my passport (no other hotel in China has done that), it usually it's just the front, visa, and Chinese entry stamp. They also asked a lot of questions that we had already answered in a form they had given us to complete. We only had one day to visit the city and had to spend 30 minutes there. The girls were very nice but the check-in process needs to be smoother. I overall recommend it anyway.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis was the second time we stayed in this lovely hotel. Very friendly staff and nice rooms. The family room was perfect for us. Also the food in the restaurant is good. Location obviously is perfect, right next to Labrang monastery.
EElsemieke de BoerI really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend staying here. The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.
