Food was good

Room was not properly maintained and didn’t look so modern or 4star appropriate. Came to visit the pool but a very strict pool policy only allows for proper swimming costumes, which was not announced before. Breakfast tables were sticky and room in the breakfast was littered.

The linen was dirty. I have to get it changed. Hok for hanging clothes in the bathroom was broken. Sleepers were missing. Tooth brush was only one.

Once a landmark property in chandigarh, shivalik view has completely lost its sheen. Rooms are in bad shape with no maintenance & in fact no will to maintain. Typical govt run hotel. Suitable for govt meetings but not for stay. Location is the only advantage otherwise stay away from thinking of staying there

Hotel needs immediate uplifting. Location is excellent and room are also specious however they need replacements of furniture, up gradations of bathrooms etc. I learn t that they are going to fix this issue.

Room was neat and clean. Food was ok but bit pricy for the quality of food they provide. They need to improve their quality of food. Otherwise the facilities and service provided were very good

Room are very old , not clean , interior in bad shape , bathroom are worst , property is big and not maintained and its like 1 star . Food is good
