โรงแรมใกล้ Giardini della Floraในกาแซร์ตา

In pieno centro a Caserta, comodissimo per la reggia, parcheggio coperto a pagamento esterno alla struttura distante pochi minuti, numerosi locali per mangiare a poca distanza. Le camere confortevoli e pulite, colazione ricca e con brioche di pasticceria. Il proprietario Onorato è davvero cortese e super disponibile.

Menna who served us breakfast each morning was the star as far as the staff are concerned. She remembered our coffee order each morning. Breakfast room overlooked the pool which was a very relaxing place. The October warmth allowed us to sit by the pool each late afternoon. Air conditioning required asking the front desk to turn it in. Not acceptable. The curtains were coming off the rails. Not acceptable. The wifi was very slow. Not acceptable. Hot water was not very hot. Not acceptable. Noisy neighbours with screaming kids in neighbouring rooms. Not acceptable. Location of Caserta allows easy day trips to Naples, Pompeii and Salerno. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

Abbiamo soggiornato tre notti sentendoci accolti e coccolati, la camera accogliente ed estremamente pulita, il giardino interno dove potersi rilassare, il posto auto, la possibilità di accedere a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte alla zona dedicata alla colazione per poterci preparare un the o una tisana o semplicemente bere un sorso di acqua fresca, la colazione ottima ed abbondante con l'eccellente ”ciambellone” preparato ogni mattina dalla moglie di Lorenzo il titolare, ma soprattutto la sua cortesia: ci ha accompagnati personalmente a visitare Caserta Vecchia e successivamente ci ha ogni sera consigliato ed accompagnato a mangiare in locali tipici della zona veramente ottimi per qualità e prezzo; inoltre grazie ai suoi consigli, oltre alle visite già programmate di Pompei e della Reggia di Caserta, siamo andati a vedere anche la Villa di Poppea a Torre Annunziata ed il complesso monumentale del Belvedere di San Leucio; veramente una persona cordiale e preparata sulla storia della propria terra ci ha raccontato tantissime cose ed alla fine ci ha anche consigliato dove poter comprare ottimi prodotti tipici del territorio da portare con noi. Torneremo di sicuro!

Upon arrival in Limatola we followed our satnav to the hotel, when the satnav eventually stopped there was no clear signage as to where to go next but with Google maps on air view we managed to work this out and continued up the hill through a small arch way - we had an Audi A4 but anything bigger wouldn’t have made it to the car park. Upon getting out the car we headed to what we thought must be the hotel but we ended up wandering around for ages as there is no clear signage to the reception area. Eventually we found reception and managed to check in, the chap didn’t really speak any English at all and we had a fair hike with no lift to our room. The room was really dark with hardly any windows, the bathroom was tiny and again had barely any light at all, the room felt cold and even more basic than the pictures had shown prior to booking. There was certainly no fancy lighting in the bathroom and we had booked a Junior Suite - which this room certainly was not. Our room was located around what was probably the old dining hall and the hotel had covered the open air section in a plastic tarpaulin, it was very windy and this was making a really loud slapping noise which could be constantly heard in the room. The restaurant appeared closed and the minibar only had water or Prosecco so we decided to walk into town - there was no staff anywhere to be seen in the hotel and as other people have commented there appeared to probably be a wedding on that weekend. Limatola was like a ghost town, what there was was closed & there was nobody anywhere, we visited on a Saturday so we’re a little surprised by this. When we eventually got back to the hotel we decided to checkout straightaway and stay elsewhere, upon checking out the staff couldn’t have cared less and didn’t ask why we were leaving when we had only arrived a short while ago. It was such a shame as the castle from the outside is stunning but unfortunately the rooms feel unloved and uninspired, the hotel has potential to be beautiful but it appears they care more for the money from weddings than the accommodation they provide. We ended up staying in the close by town of Caiazzo, as this is where we had dinner booked & it was incredible, a gorgeous typically Italian town with a beautiful Airbnb, shops, cafes and a bank.

Esperienza gradevolissima. Attenzione e cura nei particolari . Attentissimi alle richieste (accappatoi, spazzolino da denti e ciabattine ) evase nell’immediatezza. Camera super confortevole . Parcheggio interno alla struttura molto comodo . Area esterna curatissima. Cena davvero buona. Personale educatissimo . Rapporto qualità Prezzo del soggiorno e della cena assolutamente in linea. We have visited this hotel before, a few years ago, a lot has changed, it has been extended and has an extra pool to the rear, meaning there were two to choose from, both the pools were beautiful, we preferred the back pool as you didn't get the road noise, and sadly for two days this was not available to us as there was a private party one day and the next day was having a treatment of some sort, not terrible as we had use of the pool at the front, the staff are very friendly, parking was easy, the bar was relaxing, the room was comfortable, complete with very nice shampoo and gels etc, the mini bar was included and offered Coke, water and a couple of soft drinks, breakfast was nice, would have liked a toaster for the bread. A recommendation, the petrol station across the way has a great bar/coffee area, with lovely local snacks. Essenza Del Gusto restaurant a couple of minutes walk turning left out of the hotel is really excellent! Highly recommended if you are in the area.
