The hotel is right by a stunning lake and is also close to a shopping centre. The breakfast and bistro areas are pretty good, with delicious food. The rooms are clean and the balconies offer a lovely view of the lake. The only thing I didn’t love was the mattress—it was a bit firm and not the most comfortable. Also, the frosted lights in the bathroom can sometimes shine into the bedroom, which might wake up other guests. They do have an indoor pool and gym. The lift to the apartments is a bit old, but we didn’t mind. The free car parking is easy to find and use. I also thought walking around the lake was pretty good. They also offer you a selection of pillows that you can pick for your stay which is a nice touch.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 — Returning Guests & Still Impressed! This is our second stay at Mercure Caroline Springs in just two months — and once again, it did not disappoint! Receptionist Magda was absolutely wonderful—so welcoming and engaging! She recognized us from our first visit and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy and comfortable. To our delight, she even told us we’d been upgraded—how exciting! Her warmth and attention to detail truly made our stay special. From the warm welcome at check-in to the spotless, comfortable rooms with beautiful lake views, everything was just as perfect as we remembered. The staff are consistently friendly and attentive, and the location is ideal — peaceful yet close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. It’s rare to find a place you want to come back to so quickly, but Mercure Caroline Springs truly feels like a home away from home. Already looking forward to our next visit !!! Comfortable rooms. Air conditioner has a mind of its own, old units sound like a jet constantly taking off and automatically resumes after adjusting from control panel. Changed rooms 2 times and I gave up with the 3rd

Great location and nice room with view. The limited breakfast selection at the hotel was disappointing.
