Hotel Village Eden

Splendid structure with breathtaking views of Grotticelle beach and wonderful, modern and spotless rooms! Very kind staff. A special greeting to Demetrio, known at the restaurant, who does his job with such competence and passion!

We stayed in this village in the houses near the swimming pool. In 5 families with children we had a great time. The village enjoys a wonderful position on the splendid sea of ​​Calabria (perhaps one of the terraces with the most beautiful sunset in Italy). Our houses with residence formula were 250 meters away from the sea, served by shuttles every 3 minutes and therefore very comfortable. The village restaurant was the strong point as the food was divine with top quality products, even the pizza wasn't bad. Excellent wine and beer list. Entertainment made up of young people with a lot of good will but in great difficulty as they would need other staff to manage all the guests and satisfy the needs of all ages, from children to completely abandoned teenagers, and fill many empty moments of the day. The weak point of this structure, at least in our experience, is the cleanliness of the rooms and the beach. Furthermore, the reason for my not highest rating, in addition to cleanliness, is the management of the bar where you find rude staff and a slowness and disorganization that is not justifiable for a village that enjoys that position and with crystal clear sea. I will return with the hope that they have overcome these flaws.

I usually wait until the end of my stay to review but, this time, I feel I can make an exception. The village is splendidly positioned in a segment of coast that I personally consider among the most beautiful, if not the most beautiful, in the whole of Calabria and is tidy and well-kept. Excellent assistance during the booking phase and welcome upon arrival. The staff, all of them, were kind, helpful and smiling. A special note to the tireless drivers Ivo and Claudio who, with every call, take holidaymakers up and down; to the attentive, friendly and funny Nino the lifeguard; to the maître Domenico and his staff (reviewed separately in the restaurant section), to the engaging but discreet group of entertainers led by Marco and Gioia; to the property that has created a clean and well-organized village. Finally, the crystal clear sea and the white beach complete the picture. Everything exceeded expectations (perhaps, to be meticulous, the furnishings of the apar**ents in the upper part are a little dated). Well done and keep it up! Although we love traveling and visiting different places, this place could be the destination for our next holidays. I conclude with a note that is particularly dear to me: having a disabled child, the village accepted some of my requests during the booking phase and the entire staff was particularly attentive. In a nutshell: - Excellent restaurant, - Cafeteria and snacks, sandwiches etc... lacking because there is nothing gluten-free. - Structure of the village, excellent (between the upper area and the lower one, thanks to their organization, they don't make a difference) - The morning shuttle drivers are exceptional, while the afternoon one needs to be replaced because it is not very courteous and not efficient in general. - Market almost non-existent, even if the lady who works there is wonderful..., with exemplary friendliness and availability, almost wasted for such a bare market (I bought something I didn't need for the pleasure of meeting the lady who worked there who loves children). - Entertainment: good, but they fail to include children with disabilities - Good quality accommodation structure. My advice: replace the afternoon shuttle driver, also equip yourself for the gluten free sandwich shop, equip yourself for the inclusion of disabled children, such as autistic people, reward the morning driver and the lady at the market because they are worth it and improve the availability of goods in stock. The rest is OK

Village overlooking one of the most beautiful stretches of sea in our *****ola. The rooms are very beautiful (I got to know a few more) A round of applause to all those who collaborate within the structure (gardeners, maintenance workers, waiters, cleaning staff, in the kitchen, at the reception, entertainers, etc.). It would be appropriate to liven up the evenings a little more for us adults; the idea of ​​the saxophonist and the piano bar in the afternoon is nice; it could also be repeated in the late evening perhaps after the baby dance. There could also be some disco evenings.

The apar**ent was clean and very close to the beach. The restaurant is also very good, especially if you don't want to drive. We had a nice stay.

We had a great time, quiet, elegant place, room a few steps from the sea, equipped beach. Transparent sea. Rich breakfasts. Friendly staff. Thanks to the waiter and the lifeguard. The greenery of the resort is very well looked after. Top

There was no entertainment because we went in October so I can't rate that! But the structure is beautiful, we took the lovely suite, facing the sea, swimming pool with highly organized shuttle service, mini market, playground for children! Good breakfast, clean and welcoming facility! I wouldn't give it 3 stars but at least 4
