Coming to South Africa for the first time it comforted me to stay in a familiar name hotel. We utilized the airport shuttle. A trainee accompanied our driver. There was a mix up with the number of people so there was not enough room in the car for all. So the trainee stayed at the airport (to be picked up later) while the driver took us to the hotel. So sacrificial and nice! We enjoyed the hotel decor and the relaxed atmosphere the couches offered in the restaurant. We stayed in a suite which was amazing. The staff was very friendly and willing to help with anything.
Just perfect. Everything was beautiful, the rooms, the food, the gardens. The highlight of this amazing hotel are the staff, every single person we met from start to finish was exceptional and ensured we were looked after incredibly at all times. Thank you for an unforgettable stay
Location excellent. Breakfast and service very good. Clean room. We stayed here one night and the only issue was room location. We backed up to the pool area and it was a bit noisy at times. Aside from that a great value with the waterfront as a neighbor.
We stayed for 3 nights when visiting Cape Town. Hotel and rooms very well presented and clean. A breakfast is available with excellent selection of cold buffet or cooked options. Nice location in Seapoint with coastal walk close by. Numerous restaurants within 5/10 mins. walk. ( Probably reason hotel does not operate a restaurant). Reception staff vey helpful in arranging Uber etc. transport to Cape Town and other local destinations all at very reasonable cost.
ผผู้เข้าพักI've stayed there a few nights, and return again & again; even contemplating a long stay. The place is clean; the communal kitchen & lounge area is inviting, the in-house pub & adjoining balcony is cosy and gives the feel of a private party, above the bustle of Long Street below. Communal bathrooms are OK, kept clean. I love the many nooks & turns & corners of the old house and the creaking wooden floors. But the guests are what make the place feel like a home away from home -- an eclectic mix of local & foreign visitors passing through the city. There's a feeling & atmosphere of being in a backpackers in a foreign city, somewhere abroad, making one feel as if one is on holiday, somewhere away from home. I love this place! It's become my accommodation of first choice, for a party night or two in the city.
YYa ChuLocation was a bit walking distance from waterfront. And the roads were under construction, it was not easy to access Uber or cabs. It was also the convention time, the hotel was packed. Breakfast hours were very noisy and food was soso. It would be a great location for business travelers to the convention centers. Staff were all very friendly and quick checking in and out. But besides the hotel, there was nothing nearby to do at night.
