We stayed at the hotel in Cape Town with a group of friends, occupying 3 rooms for the 6 of us. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Initially, they overcharged my credit card for 430€, and only refunded the excess amount almost 2 months later after numerous reminders. The rooms themselves were appalling: sewage water leaking from the bathroom pipes from the ceiling onto the floor (no alternative room or reparation despite multiple complaints); inadequate towels, multiple days in a row; no light in the bathroom; no air conditioning remote in the summer with single glass windows; stained bedding; and a sink that wouldn't drain. Despite daily reports of these issues, no action was taken. The so-called 'manager' was impossible to reach until our last day, during which they failed to correct the overcharge issue. We were promised compensation of 8000 rand for the large amount of problems, but four months and countless emails later, it remains an empty promise and a huge scam. I sincerely hope no one entrusts this hotel to be part of their journey. I have never encountered such poor accommodation and terrible customer service anywhere else.

If you like wifi and are reliant on this do not stay here. This was possibly one of the worst experiences ive had in all my travels. The pictures make this hotel look a hell of a lot more grand than it truly was. I feel a little cheated and i cut my stay short there and booked into another hotel. The other hotel actually worked.

Nice hotel in a central location in Cape Town. The staff was always helpful and nice. The room was quite small, but perfectly ok for us.

We had a terrible stay at BlackBrick Cape Town. We checked in only to find the floor in our room and bathroom was filthy (dust balls everywhere, old chewing gum stuck to the floor). It was clear the floors hadn't been scrubbed or cleaned properly for a long time. The bathroom floor mat was black underneath after we used it once - that is how disgusting the floors were. We were also only given one towel, and when we asked for a second kaycard we were told they had run out of keycards. To add to this, the front desk never responded to our messages, and didn't sort out any of the issues above until we had asked multiple times and contacted their Sandton branch. By far the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in.

Upon arrival, the staff were incredible. From the guard who helped us at the parking garage and with our bags, to the check-in staff and GM - we were treated so well and with such friendliness and professionalism. The room was clean and perfectly allocated and very modern. We had a lovely view of the bustle of the city below and the windows kept out most of the noise. The Blackbrick Club was amazing as well. I had several Zoom calls and some work to do and the club was the perfect location for this - quiet, clean and with plenty of places to setup and plug in. The restaurant that's attached was also great - coffee was outstanding and although we didn't end up ordering breakfast, the menu looked amazing! Overall, we loved our stay and will definitely be back!

It was a good price for two people. Unfortunately I couldn't experience the restaurant because it was always closed when I left early. The check in time is pretty late though. A great place nonetheless!

Room was not clean, the floor had spots specially in the toilet. The windows don't close properly, you can hear the noise of the streets and the window shutters are not good. The toilet doesn't have air conditioner or purifier, the smell goes to the room and stays there. The location of the hotel is not good and didn't feel safe.
