Great location 5 minute walk from Camps Bay Beach and all the bars and restaurants. Super spacious and comfortable. And Merryl is one of the most welcoming and gracious hosts I have met. Would definitely stay again next time in Cape Town.

This was our second stay at Merryl & Steve's fantastic accommodation in Camps Bay and it certainly won't be our last. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite which is beautiful and equipped with everything you need (kitchen, sitting area, separate dressing room etc). Watching the sunset from your private deck overlooking the ocean is simply magical. Merryl & Steve have invested heavily in the infrastructure to ensure the property is not affected by load shedding at all, which we really appreciated. There is dedicated parking in front of the property and it's a very safe & easy 5 min walk down to the Camps Bay seafront with all its restaurants and bars. Personally, we also love the 10 min walk down to Bakoven for the beach & to enjoy breakfast at the cool Bootlegger Coffee Company. The only thing better than the quality of the property, it's enviable location and the proximity to all that Camps Bay has to offer, is the genuinely warm welcome & service you receive from Merryl & Steve. If you're a couple looking for the perfect place to stay in Camps Bay, don't look anywhere else.....

A truly luxurious stay in a very large apartment. Everything you could wish for was there. The owners were delightful, helpful and informative. Very clean. Great views over the sea and ideally placed to sit and have sundowners. It was an easy walk down the hill to the main area of restaurants and bars in Camps Bay and a worthwhile walk up the hill home. We are truly planning on coming back and will aim to stay here again as it really exceeded our expectations.

What a hidden gem this place is! We stayed here for a week and could not have asked for a more ideal self-catering accommodation. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and luxurious and Merryl, the owner, had provided everything that you could possibly want in terms of toiletries and refreshments', including a nice touch of bread, butter and jam on your arrival and a supply of beers and wine which you could purchase at a reasonable price if you wished to watch the sunset from the terrace in an evening. Bed was ultra comfy and the rooms cleaned daily with sheets/towels regularly changed. We loved the use of our private terrace and the shared terrace which overlooked the ocean. Easy walking distance to Camps Bay beach and an array of restaurants. Merryl is so helpful and friendly but doesn't intrude in any way on your holiday, but you know that she is on call and would assist if you had any concerns or needed any recommendations. Our only regret? That we couldn't stay longer! We will be back!

As usual Merryl and Steve were excellent hosts, pleasant and helpful. The suite was very well appointed and was only a five minute walk down to the Camps Bay ***** where there is a plethora of restaurants and bars. A starter pack of food and drink was provided which was very helpful. There were many thoughtful touches in the property, including a battery powered lamp for use during the load shedding periods. We used the sun beds on the deck and there was a stunning view down to the sea. When we left at an unearthly hour to catch an early morning flight, Steve even helped us with our luggage. What a farewell!

Merryl was the perfect host & we could not fault our stay in the deluxe suite. It is absolutely pristine with lovely touches such as lavender sprigs dotted around giving a lovely scent. It’s spacious & the walk in closet was great with more than enough storage. The bathroom is modern with a huge tub & really good shower. The suite has fantastic views from the large balcony which is perfect for sunrise & sunsets which are magnificent at camps bay. The fridge was stocked with basics to start you off without rushing to the supermarket which isn’t far, just at the bottom of the drive. There are also a few beers/wine which is chargeable. It’s convenient to have it there on arrival if you want to just chill & savour the views. A short walk downhill will take you to an array of restaurants & bars on the beachfront. A great spot for enjoying lunch, dinner or sundowners. Merryl made it clear she was always on hand if we needed any help or advice which is great if you’re 1st timers to Cape Town. All in all I’d happily stay again & recommend. I can’t close without mentioning the beach which is beautiful & the spectacular backdrop of The Twelve Apostles, it’s magnificent. We were delighted with our stay in this beautiful self-catering suite apartment. You have all practical comfort, the basic needs for a breakfast are already there : bread, butter, jam, coffee and tea, milk and sugar. The place is extremely clean and tidy. Merryl gives you a warm welcome and tips and tricks and professional advise for the planning of your stay. She organised a guide Jerome for us to visit some wine estates near Stellenbosch : Ken Forester with a nice welcome in the morning and an excellent chenin wine, Waterford with top red shiraz and cabernet-sauvignon wines, Delaire for the lunch and the stunning views and Kanonkop with the best pinotage wines. On a rainy Sunday she advised us to go for lunch to Beyond at Buitenverwachting in the Constantia area. It was really top food, close to an open wood fire and with a view on the wine yards trough the big windows. Super cosy and the best choice for a rainy day. The location in Camps Bay is the place to be for every trip in the south cape area. Merryl is super friendly and helps you with anything. We could by some good wine and beer for our drinks in the evening. Two times we let do our laundry. We recommend couples without children to go there. It is absolutely the top spot to stay in Camps Bay. We only cooked once in the apartment, because there are so many good restaurants on walking distance : Bovine for meat lovers, Paranga for fish. In the Waterfront area Restaurant Pier is a discovery with really top fine dining and wining.

Stayed there with my wife for our first trip back to Cape Town in 14 years. Camps Bay is a superb place to stay - lots of life and things to do in the area and a great base for the whole of Cape Town and the wider region. And this venue is superb - lots of lovely little touches, a lovely sized room (we had the one with views over the Bay) and could not fault one thing. Definitely a great place to stay!
