While we always welcome constructive feedback, I must admit we’re quite baffled by several of your claims.Firstly, cleanliness is something we take extremely seriously. Our rooms are inspected thoroughly before each guest arrives, and we encourage guests to report any concerns immediately so we can resolve them. At no point during your stay did you raise any issues about the room or request a change of sheets, which makes your comments about hygiene quite surprising.Secondly, describing our breakfast as “bare minimum” is simply inaccurate. We offer a full continental and hot buffet spread—including multiple bread options (white, wholegrain, gluten-free), spreads (butter, margarine, peanut butter, jam, Vegemite), pastries, fresh-cut fruit, juices, milk, cold water, and hot items like eggs, mushrooms, sausages, tomatoes, and baked beans. If that’s considered modest, we’re genuinely curious what your expectations were.Thirdly, your claim that there are “no handrails” on our staircases is factually incorrect. As a three-storey property, we are legally required to—and absolutely do—have handrails on every staircase. In addition, we have fixed “Slippery When Wet” signage at each staircase to ensure guest safety. If you experienced a fall, we’re sorry to hear that, but no incident was reported to our team. Had we been informed, we would have offered assistance and completed a formal incident report.We understand that Coral Tree Inn may not have been the right fit for you, but misrepresenting facts doesn’t help future guests or the team who work hard to maintain our standards. We’re glad you found our staff helpful—that’s one thing we’ll always stand behind.Safe travels.
