👍👍👍 I had a wonderful stay at Tongmu Youmingju Homestay and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tongmu area. The homestay is located in a beautiful and peaceful natural setting, surrounded by mountains and forest. One of my favorite experiences was enjoying excellent local tea while sitting right next to the river, breathing the fresh mountain air and listening to the sound of the water. It is the perfect place to relax and experience the authentic atmosphere of Tongmu. The hosts are exceptionally kind, welcoming and always ready to help with anything. They made me feel like a guest in their home rather than just a customer. The homemade food was another highlight. Every meal was fresh, authentic and absolutely delicious. It was some of the best local food I had during my trip. As a tea enthusiast, I especially appreciated staying with a family that truly understands the local tea culture. Their knowledge and hospitality made my visit even more memorable. I genuinely enjoyed every day of my stay and was sad to leave. I will definitely come back, and from now on this will be my permanent place to stay whenever I visit the Wuyishan and Tongmu area. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We were delighted to have found and stayed at this property. Minzhushanfang is a very new bed-and-breakfast accommodation with a minimalist, calming, zen-style architecture befitting of the Wuyishan area. The rooms are similarly designed along the same minimalist, zen concept and are true to the property photos published on the booking platform. We deliberately chose an accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of town and so, found the location of Mingzhushanfang excellent. Located directly across from the entrance of the Wuyishan scenic area, it was very convenient accessing the park while being peaceful and tranquil. Do note that with its location being away from town centre, dining options at or near the property aren't many, so having dinner near town, prior to heading back to the hotel at night is strongly recommended. The room we booked has a peaceful stream view, and looks remotely across towards the Dawangfeng peak. Room and facilities are very clean. While it seems smoking is not prohibited in the rooms, we were very thankful we had no issues whatsoever with residual smoke odour. The owners of this property, who are also tea growers and manufacturers, were extremely hospitable. We were always welcomed for candid tea tastings and conversation at the lobby area, They even went out of their way to help us when we got abit lost in town! Their breakfast made by their Ah Yi is wholesome and amazing - with a lot of farm-to-table ingredients freshly harvested from their own vegetable patch. I would love to go back to visit Wuyishan again and will not hestiate to stay at Minzhushanfang again.

As a mom travelling with my two boys, (16 and 13) we had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful villa! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our incredible host Xianti (XT), his lovely mother, and the entire family. They were exceptionally kind, helpful, and genuinely caring throughout our entire visit. We stayed in the Triple Family Courtyard Room, which was not only beautifully decorated but also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Despite our late arrival, we were still able to order a meal from the aunties and wow, the food was outstanding! In fact, we ended up having lunch and dinner there every single day because it was just that delicious. Every meal felt like a lovingly prepared, home-cooked feast. We also had the pleasure of taking part in a tea ceremony, which was a serene and special experience. The tea was exquisite, and it was a lovely way to connect with the culture and surroundings. Another highlight was the recommendation to see Impression Da Hong Pao a next-level show that left us absolutely amazed. What made it even better was that our host arranged the tickets for us and had them delivered to the villa, so thoughtful and convenient! If you’re still hesitating, don’t! We can wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It truly felt like a home away from home in China 💖 and was the perfect base for exploring the breathtaking Wuyishan mountains. Wonderful stay at this hotel/resort, maybe one of our best stays during our travels in China. Asian culture with western hospitality - amazing! Breakfast 10/10 - Yum! Great for families - the hotel has all the amenities for kids/toddlers. Small hiccups with the spa experience, but the team quickly handled the situation very professionally. Big thanks to Fiona and Ally for their great service and friendly treatment. We will return when we come back to WYS.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel in Wuyi, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s charming atmosphere. The modern architecture combined with the serene tea rooms created a peaceful and immersive experience that felt both luxurious and authentic. Spending quiet moments in the tea lounges, sipping local brews while enjoying the calming decor, was a true highlight of my stay. One of the standout features of this hotel is the breakfast. Every morning, I was greeted with an impressive variety of dishes — both local specialties and more familiar options — all fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re a fan of savory or sweet, there’s something for everyone, and the attention to quality was evident in every bite. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the support the hotel provided in helping me explore the area. They introduced me to a local guide named Spring, and I am so grateful they did. Spring was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about Wuyi. Thanks to her, I was able to discover hidden gems, learn about the rich cultural heritage of the region, and gain insights I never would have found on my own. Her guidance added so much depth and meaning to my visit. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so special. I will absolutely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a genuine and enriching experience in Wuyi.

Probably one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was impeccable—from the beginning the hotel staff was very responsive via WeChat, answering all my questions about Wuyishan, arranging train station pickup, booking Impression Dahongpao tickets on our behalf. When we first arrived at the hotel, the staff was extremely welcoming, serving us Rougui tea and patiently going over our travel itinerary for the day. Every request we made was honored. They added an extra bed to a room to accommodate a 3rd guest, prepared a vegetarian meal for a vegetarian in our group, and cooked a warm black sugar coca cola drink to help soothe my dad's throat, who was coughing pretty severely. Overall, I've never experienced better service at a hotel. The facilities themselves are breathtaking. The pond outside, the tea terrace, the interior decoration, the room furnishings... the style is ”traditional modern”, mostly wood and stone but very classy and comfortable. We came during an off-season, so the hotel was serene and peaceful at night. The location is also quite convenient: around 10 minutes by Didi from the main restaurant district and 15 minutes from the South Entrance of the scenic area.

Based on my recent two-night stay, the Metropolo Hotel Wuyishan Sangu Holiday Resort is an excellent choice for exploring the area. The location is truly great, with easy access via the public bus right outside. Our room was impressively spacious and very clean. A special mention must go to their staffs, who were super nice and incredibly attentive to all my requests. The breakfast offered a great variety and quality to start each day. I would highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay in Wuyishan.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay in this hotel and loved the whole atmosphere. They had renovations for the outside area going on, but it did not disturb us to our room at all. The hotel is primarly a tea producer, and we got a change to taste their oolong tea, see the factory and buy tea. The hotel is a great choice if you want to be closer to the nature compared to the touristic sangu area but it is also only 10min walk away from the wuyi academy area and shuttle bus. Taxi was easily available in the evenings!

Staying at Hotel Fliport was a delightful experience, largely thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff, particularly Xiao Zhang at the front desk. However, it's worth noting that the hotel's interior might benefit from some refurbishment. Certain aspects of the furnishings appeared a bit worn and outdated.
