My request was not fully processed, and the hotel stated that the reason for the rejection was due to a modification issue. The hotel then contacted me, explaining that the modifications and rejection were due to the Trip app. Thank you for wasting my money and not being able to use the reservation, which was given to someone else. The room was already booked but no one was there. This is a terrible experience with Trip that I will not repeat. 👍🏼

The room view was perfect, the building was old but good, the breakfast I think that it was not fresh, if you want to go to Lake District, this is the best choice, but be ready to lower your expectations about this hotel, of course this was the best hotel in the Lake District

Lovely hotel, right in the heart of Bowness. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent service by your staff Lovely view of the lake and good location Appreciate the good English breakfast too. Rooms were very small. No place to open up our travelling bags. Bathroom very small. And the lift being out of service was very inconvenient.

The room is very old and has a very bad unventilated smell. In the morning we heard extra loud noise coming upstairs sounds like construction in progress. We can even very distinctly hear the people stumping on the ceiling. The hotel did not refill the cleaning products and we had to ask for them ourselves when we come back at night. The receptionist has a bad attitude. The cleaning lady did not knock on the door and just used master key to barge in. None of which is a worth the price and 4-star hotel The view and location was decent.

My husband and I stayed here in one of the larger posh 4-poster bed rooms for 2 nights nights. It is an ideal location, being a very short walk from the village high street, across the road from the harbour with beautiful lake views, but tucked high enough away from any street noise. And because it's a proper hotel, the room we booked was large enough, and even had a bidet. There was adequate parking, a lovely full English breakfast buffet, and a fancy bar and restaurant onsite. The only downside was that the lift was broken, so we had to climb to the top floor many times a day, and construction was taking place on site, but that was quiet for us as our room was around the other side of the building. If you're there in the dead of summer, there was no AC. (Just a heads up in case you're from the states and used to it all hotel rooms) Not currently any pool or hot tub at the time of typing this. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to my friends. 👍🏼

Super gd location and next to the bay for cruise. Nice hotel and good service with car parking.

Excellent service from front office hotel staff, specially by Matt. Matt had made us feel warm and welcome. He went all the way to fulfil our needs. Would like to definitely come back again. Kudos to Matt for all the good work and support.

首先不得不説酒店地段非常好，大堂後門有個大草坡，有園路直通湖邊碼頭的道路上，太方便了。訂的是温馨湖景房，房間窗户雖不大但正對着湖邊碼頭，元旦那幾天剛好是超級月亮，早上8點前可以看到清晨美麗的湖景和月亮，很夢幻！但酒店顯然因為地段好，遊客很多偏商業化，我們入住的這間温馨湖景房房間非常小，軟裝老舊，地毯也偏舊，衞生間暖氣不行很冷，衹有淋浴，水量很好。早餐自助式，也許是我英文不好，餐廳服務員對亞洲人的服務不如對歐洲人（會領客人到餐桌），但總體服務都還是有禮貌不錯的，除了房間內的硬件和軟裝差一些，總體還是不錯的！
