Basecamp is in need of an overhau! Rooms were dingy, poorly lit with ugly white light that felt like an underground parking garage, filthy windows, carpet is well past needing to be replaced, paint is chipping and dirty. I wore my shoes even when I got up to use the bathroom in the night. The fun theme of 'camping' has gone too far- they need to step it up in a big way. Also, our room wasn't cleaned between nights which is okay, I guess but the price tag would suggest that it is included. Staff is friendly so I feel bad writing this review but come-on! Take some pride in the condition.
This hotel was clean, friendly and perfectly placed in the heart of Boulder. My kids spent hours in the pool which was clean and fully stocked with those fluffy towels that are amazing. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a ton of options. The room was super clean and had everything we needed to stay for a couple of days with 2 small children. This will be our hotel of choice from now on when visiting Boulder!
Me and my husband spent one night in Bolder at the end of our trip in Colorado and decided to stay at Hotel Bolderado to be close to all of the shops and restaurants around Pearl Street. The location was perfect and walking to Pearl Street was easy and safe. The check-in process was easy and simple. We stayed in the original quarters, which had more of the historic design. The bed was really comfortable with lots of pillows. Considering this was the older part of the hotel I thought the bathroom looked rather newer and clean.
We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton!! Our room had a Mountain View and balcony. It was spotless and very comfortable. The rooftop pool, happy hour drinks/snacks and friendly staff also made this stay great. The hotel restaurant had a nice selection of entrees. From our point of view, the staff was on top of everything here. We had a minor issue with the lights in our bathroom and it was fixed right away. The hotel location is close to everything- 5-10 min drive to Pearl St, UC campus and Chautauqua Park. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re ever in Boulder!
What a s*** hole. Housekeeping needs new management. Dirty dirty dirty. Complain and they might do nothing. Rooms are dusty and furniture is cheap as well as fixtures. Wall paint is ghetto and distasteful. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. There is a nice Marriott across the street.
We stayed 6 nights at the Homewood Suites in Boulder and enjoyed our stay. I had a conference/workshop nearby, we had been travelling for two weeks before and appreciated having a kitchenette to cook from. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The weekday free shuttle within 5 miles is great as we were carless. My husband took advantage of this and hiked the flatirons after being dropped at a nearby park. Daily breakfasts were good, and components changed daily. My husband used the pool and it was nice and clean. Great to have self service laundry. It was the first time I had been to a hotel that arranged weekday social events (movie night on Mondays, social night on Wednesday where beers/wine and nibbles were provided, and staff very chatty and engaging), which I thought was a great idea as this hotel really caters for people travelling for work and longer stay guests. My husband and I would really recommend this hotel. Thanks very much for hosting us!
This is probably the best hotel I have stayed in for business in a good while. The hotel is all about customer service. The hotel is very modern. Elevator is quite musical, but it is really for benefit of sight impaired. The room was spacious and shades that could be pulled to provide total blackout in the room. The staff is the star here. I arrived early and asked to check in. I did not get the standard 'Check in 3pm' spiel. They could not tell if my room was ready, so they used their Walker Talk device to get with house keeping (They use Relay which runs on cell network, they could even have a staff member at home and all call them with it. Not a cheap unit but shows communication is important with this property). The Desk clerk had a back-up plan if my room was not ready to get me into one. I even got a text to inquire if my room was okay and got a text on checkout. I had forgotten my hearing aid when I checked out. I called and the hotel operator knew about and was ready to make arrangements to FedEx to me, and would had let me charge the shipping charge to my room folio. Was cognizant that I could had used my corporate card for the my room and thus need to use my personal card. You could tell this is not the Hotel Team's first rodeo. I would definitely stay here again, without a doubt. So my only disappointment is that on Google Maps things look really far away from the property and it is not despite being more a business district type area. A nearby shopping center, features s subway, Burger King, Starbucks, grocery store, and a few other restaurants. The map was very deceiving and if I had been smart, I probably could had asked hotel staff for recommendations.
TtimbP1987ATQuick visit to see my son at CU and I couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised with this property. Sure, it’s not downtown and there really isn’t much around but all I needed was a clean room with a quick Uber ride to town (5 mins) for a couple of nights. The room was spotless, great Flatiron views, I had a little balcony (2nd floor), great shower and an extremely helpful and pleasant staff. Incredible value. I will be back and highly recommend.
