We had a very disappointing stay here as part of our honeymoon. Staff on reception not at all friendly. The hotel is basic at best and I guess survives on the fact that it has elevated viewing areas from which you can see a fantastic vista of the city. The vista in our room, not so much. I could have cried when I looked out the window from our basic, insipid room. In fact, we decided we would leave and book elsewhere but our fee was non refundable so could not. There was absolutely no atmosphere and staff looked blank or indeed rather grumpily on as we passed. The corridors look like a hospital — no decor to be seen. There is no bar open at night to take drinks out to the terrace and we had nothing in the room — on checking out, we were asked if we had taken from the mini bar — there wasn’t one. When I told them this, they said there was it was just very well hidden. We had looked everywhere for this and still we are none the wiser. Breakfast is okay…nothing special. We wouldn’t have minded if we had booked budget accommodation for a quick city break but this hotel was costly.
We had a very nice stay . All the stuff was super kind and polite . 5 to 5 for the cleaners ! The breakfast was very good ! Special thank to the man with glasses in breakfast stage and reception and also to lovely Albanian lady . We loved them and made our stay very comfortable!
Set in a quiet area of Villanova di Castenaso, the NH Bologna Villanova hotel is surrounded by green and luscious countryside. The hotel is close to the highway and within a 15-minute drive of the airport and train station, making it extremely accessible. The BolognaFiere Exhibition Center is only 10 minutes away by car, while there is a local bus to take guests into the historic city center. The 209 rooms at NH Bologna Villanova are designed in a muted color scheme and many enjoy views of the countryside surrounding the hotel. Free Wi-Fi is available in each room. Our varied breakfast will satisfy even the pickiest of eaters and includes local favorites such as mortadella. We have a lobby bar where you can get a light lunch or an afternoon drink. You can also enjoy these on the rooftop terrace during sunny weather. Dinner is served buffet-style at the hotel restaurant. To stay fit during your stay, you can make use of our indoor pool and gym, or, if you prefer something a little more relaxing, why not sunbathe in the outdoor seating area in the summer months. There is complimentary outdoor parking for our guests and the hotel has 5 meeting rooms for up to 120 people.
My husband and I stayed 7 nights at this beautiful hotel, the staff were amazingly helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with enough choices to suit us both. The room was spacious, clean, had an excellent shower and was cleaned daily. The room had clothes hanging space, tea/coffe facility and a mini fridge which we used for our own snacks and drinks. There are spacious indoor and outdoor seating areas. Wifi was available in the rooms and communal areas. The hotel is a 25 minute walk into town or you can catch the number 25 bus from outside the hotel for 2 euros one way. The train system allowed us to travel to Verona, lake Garda, modena and Florence. The hotel is located in the Chinese quarter, we found an amazing Korean restaurant 5 mins walk from hotel, i would recommend this place and i would highly recommend this hotel, and we will return.
I originally had a reservation at AC Hotel Bologna but later changed it to Holiday Inn for half the price and I was pleased by our stay at Holiday Inn. Of course it's not a luxury hotel but for the brand I thought it was entirely serviceable. The hotel does not have suites as far as I know, so I did not expect a suite upgrade as Diamond guest; instead I received a modest upgrade. The breakfast was fine, perhaps even more than fine for this category of hotel. Overall it was solid value for the money and I can recommend it.
We’re 20 minutes from the center of Bologna, in the industrial district. The FICO Eataly World theme park is five kilometers from us and the famous Imola racetrack is a 35-minute drive. Enjoy easy access to the highway, free private parking, and our peaceful garden. Relax at the end of the day with a drink in our lounge bar.

Alles war gut. Das Hotel und das Zimmer sah ansprechend aus. Es war sauber und gemütlich. Es gab Wasser umsonst.

ผผู้เข้าพักPerfectly located between the train station and city center. The hotel has a good vibe and good breakfast, coffee made to the order, etc. it is all as shown in pictures and descriptions. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I recommend and come back again if I visit Bologna again
Combo Hostel, Bologna Approx 15 min walk from train station. Utilitarian in a cool, funky way. VERY bright colours in the corridors. Very friendly helpful staff. Nice, reasonably priced bar with indoor and outdoor garden seating areas. Excellent breakfast. Rooms clean and spacious. Laundry with two washing machines, two dryers, two airers and iron/ironing board. Would definitely stay again
We selected this hotel based on the TA reviews. It does come at a price and you need to select your room carefully to fully enjoy your experience here. Here are our opinions on some of the essentials from any hotel. Location: - Everywhere in Bologna itself is within fairly easy touch of the airport with Hotel Touring being no exception. It’s a taxi ride away or a hop on the ‘Aerobus’ and then walking (more on that later). The hotel is tucked away in a side street just far enough away to be quiet but it’s only a 10-minute stroll into the central areas. Just down the road is a Coop minimart. We stayed in a ‘standard’ room and this will be the subject of this review. Quiet room: - Our standard room was quiet. Very quiet. It can also best be described as compact meaning that some items were stored on the floor. Our particular room also was also sadly lacking in daylight. Thankfully we were out a lot so it wasn’t too big an issue. There are slightly larger rooms available judging by pictures I saw within reviews but you will pay significantly more for these. Air-conditioning/Room temperature: - Yes but not required in November where it was often fairly cool/cold outside. There was a radiator in the bedroom with a responsive thermostatic valve to just keep the room at the correct temperature. There was also a heated towel rail in the bathroom which appeared to be always on but that was not set too high. Wi-Fi: - We had free included Wi-Fi. The password was supplied to us in the room. Annoyingly you had to keep re-connecting every time you came back to your room. The Wi-Fi signal was good. Comfortable bed / pillows. A simple yet very comfortable bed and pillows. We had some good sleeps here. Hairdryer: - Yes. On the wall in the shower room. No complaints from my wife so it must have been ok. Plastic Shower Cap: - Yes. One happy wife. Toiletries provided: - Small bottles of shampoo and a bar of soap. That was it. No shower gel supplied in the standard room. It may be different in the superior rooms. Shower: - Good plentiful hot water. Nothing special but did everything you could want from a shower. Ours had a curtain around it which was a bit of a faff and resulted in some water occasionally getting onto the floor. Safe: - Yes. Tea/Coffee making facilities: - None supplied in the standard room. Bring your own kettle. We asked at reception to loan a kettle but they could not do this for whatever reason. However, they were happy to supply hot water from reception which just meant you had to go get it yourself. Breakfasts: - Very nice breakfasts and much better than I have experienced in some other places in Italy. Coffee was from a machine and on my one experience it was a bit ropey tasting. However, I asked the attentive staff who were more than glad to knock up an expresso, a pot of hot water and some milk to make a delicious Americano. Really nice and a breakfast to look forward to. Eateries Nearby: - Nothing is too far away from Hotel
