Great modern hotel in the historical city center of Bogota (La Candelaria). I honestly couldn't have hoped for a better accommodation for my 5 days tourist trip. Location: excellent!! The hotel is 2 blocks from the museo del oro, with other museums and tourist attractions nearby. The hotel is also located near a crossroad which makes Uber pick up and drop off very seamless. Breakfast: very good. Fruit and fruit juices are available, as well as jam and a variety of breads and panitos. Salty options are available too (ham, cheese). There's a chef cooking your choice of eggs on the spot. Coffee and tea is available. Solid buffet breakfast. Rooms: Very large and very clean. Daily clean up including towels change. My window was slightly broken in that it would not fully lock when closing it, but it didn't bother me too much as I would still be able to close it and keep the cold out - just the sound would make it thru the window. Guest services: excellent. I did laundry, which was returned clean and in excellent conditions. The concierge also help me book a taxi for my return trip to the airport. They speak English and Spanish. Security: also pretty good. The street door has a Nest-like doorbell for both coming in and going out. A doorman is (sometimes) present just inside, if not then the hotel front desk will buzz you in. After passing the entrance, you have an elevator that takes you upstairs to the front desk. Elevator access for the floors with hotel rooms needs your room key card.
The room itself is very small, there’s no view. The breakfast was included and was okeyish. I didn’t stay there for the second visit of the city. So that probably means I wouldn’t recommend it.

This is a great place for a basic stay. The breakfast is good. There is plenty of hot water, which you need in a chilly place like BOG. There is a little table with a couple of stools if you want to eat in your room. The bed is fine and so is the bathroom. The cleaning staff works hard. There is a TV that had CNN in Spanish, which I enjoyed. The area is good, near Chapinero. There is no safe in the room, but there are cameras in the hallway, and the reception will store your valuables. I don't know why anyone would ever complain about this place. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is a budget hotel. Perfect for sleeping, showering, and resting. It is clean and quiet too. It is by a hospital so no loud bars at night. I stayed in room 926 which was great. It was on a high floor room, and on the side of the building with an incredible view of the city, as the hotel is perched on a hill. AMAZING VIEW. The front desk is hardworking and friendly. The only downsides. I think there is central climate control. No thermostat in the room and no A/C in the room. No phone in the room so you need to personally go downstairs for anything. Also, the internet sometimes cut out. So someone coming to see me was trying to call me and the internet had cut out. Also, the internet would cut out and I would have to reconnect on my own when going from my room to the lobby. I knew it was a budget hotel with a small room so I knew there would be no fridge.
A small hotel by size (I suppose around 30/35 rooms) located in one of the best place of the city. Service is five stars, and the hotel is incredibly cleaned and well maintained. Excellent, above the average, value for money.
I stayed for 2 nights as part of the trip to Colombia. Hotel is very nicely and conveniently located in El Retiro district of Bogota, to be even more precise in Zone T - which is the most luxurious area in Bogota with a lot of luxury hotels, fancy restaurants and shopping malls. I would say location and price are 2 best things about this hotel, as in all other terms it is just average business hotel - definitely not a destination for romantic getaway, however more than enough to just spend 2 nights exploring Bogota. Historic center and Monserrat mountain are 20-25 min by car and Airport is more or less same distance (without traffic) which considering the size of Bogota is quite close :) Rooms are clean and quite spacious, Privilege rooms (to which I was upgraded as ALL Platinum member) have bathrobes and slippers, views can be different depending on which direction your room is facing - mine despite being Privilege room was facing the other building which was not very appealing. Breakfast is just average - they cook omelet which is very good and have some fruit selection - otherwise not a huge variety. Hotel doesn't have restaurant - only breakfast room and small nice bar in the lobby, which though is serving limited list of drinks (however the barmen, apologies forgot the name was really nice guy). They also have small gym on the last floor as well as sauna. Overall, I can recommend hotel for those just looking for the place to sleep for 1-2 nights as location is really great and price reasonable, while definitely not for longer stays and not for any couples or family trips.

Some of the staff was very professional and friendly. Unfortunately, other staff was quite rude. For example, when I asked the gentleman at the front desk to copy my vaccine cards, he practically snatched them out of my hands without saying a word. After handing me my copies, he began to walk away while my cards were still sitting in the copy machine. I politely asked for ”mis tarjetas, por favor.” He walked back over, still silent, and I said simply, ”Esos son importantes.” He chuckled under his breath but still said nothing as he handed the cards back. It was as if he simply had no interest in bothering with them unless I asked.
Then, after I paid for the copies, he went to look for my change (1,000 pesos). He then told me in an irritated tone that they didn't have any change. I simply said, ”No es importante.” Throughout the whole interaction, he acted very rushed and inconvenienced, as if I was imposing on him, and he never offered the slightest apology for forgetting my vaccine cards or not having any change. (They were not busy at the time; there were two people working behind the counter and no other guests in line. At least the other fellow was professional, unlike his colleague.)
I'm aware that my Spanish is still at an intermediate level; however, if you're going to work in the hotel industry (down the street from the airport, in a capital city, no less), the least you could do is show some courtesy to your guests. (We don't have to speak Spanish to pick up on your passive aggressiveness.)
Also, when I arrived there were no towels in the room. It took three requests over about 35-40 minutes to get some. Everyone I talked to seemed very professional and intent on taking care of it, but somehow no one delivered until the third attempt. It was surprising, actually, because the room was immaculate and perfectly made up, except for having no towels of any kind.
I enjoyed my dinner a lot, and the lady who waited on me was gracious and patient when conversing with me in Spanish. The restaurant took a few minutes to find, as there are two buildings, each with their own lobby, and the fellow at reception who checked me in didn't mention anything about the restaurant.

This company promises cleaning services once per week. However, the managers at this site are not intersted at all in making this promise come to pass. I spoke with the dierctor, but she lied and did not want to solve the situation. I asked for customer service information and her response was that she will not renew my contract. She also lied about the services and schedule; it was very disapointing to speak with a manager with such attitudes so I decided just to leave. I tried contacting customer service but that same dierctor is the one that replies to emails. There are many great places in Chia for 1/2 the price. I found one that even has finger print tec for 1/2 price at a great location. While the building is nice, the management team lacks customer service knowledge, and basic human ethics. The reception staff is wonderful though.
I have seen quite a lot over the past decades, but this must be the worst hotel I have stayed at and this is primarily due to its management. But first: a simple hotel in very good location, but with thin walls and in an increasingly deteriorating state. Staff is generally very helpful and nice. Breakfast offering very basic! Main problem: management wants to recover Covid losses by charging damages to guests without proof that they have been caused by them. In our case, the cover glass for the desk had a small piece missing at the edge and we were told that we had caused this and had to pay for it! Obviously, we did not check the room for such minor damages when checking in (at the end who treats a hotel room like a used car and checks for scratches in the whole room?). When my wife talked to the responsible manager by phone (who refused to talk to us in person), he mentioned directly that the hotel had to recover Covid losses as reason for why we were charged for this 'damage'. When my wife insisted that we were not responsible for the 'damage', he blackmailed us, saying that the staff would then have to cover the cost of a new glass. Certainly the most unpleasant experience I have ever had in any hotel in the world.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, very clean! Good breakfast and very attentive staff. It’s super well located! Great value for money! Would stay again! The hotel allows, if available, to pay by late checkout!
