The overlook exterior look needs some tlc…..simple things like cutting grass, security uniform even gold shirts so its easy to recognise that this is security and this is housekeeping staff and so forth… Room was okay for the amount we paid but there was no 2 pin plug so we could charge our phones, no telephone to call reception to enquire, we needed an iron and an ironing board , we were given a small dirty iron with no ironing board because it broke. Luckily we didn’t experience loadshedding as there was no back up.

Over the years we have stayed here many times. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The rooms are impeccably clean. The food is fresh and always served straight out the kitchen. This is a very old hotel however the owners are continually upgrading some part of the property and every time we return its just that little bit nicer. I look forward to my next stay and the great hiking we enjoy at Royal natal.

Impeccably clean rooms and facilities. Staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help. The view from our room was beautiful. Wheelchair facilities available. Wifi available. The food is average and we enjoyed it. We were in room 17 ground floor. However, no wine or coca cola in the bar. Tiles missing in the bathroom. Dated decor. And noisy day visitors. You also need to request a hairdryer. Vodacom 1 bar in room MTN 3 bars room

Mooie locatie met vriendelijke medewerkers. Bij aankomst werden we verrast met een heerlijke (alcoholvrije) welkomstcocktail. Locatie is een beetje gedateerd. De kamers zijn ruim, er zijn koffie- en theezet faciliteiten en er is een badkamer met bad en douche. Elke kamer beschikt over een terrasje of eigen balkon. De hele accommodatie is wel aan een opknapbeurt toe. Lekker eten en drinken tegen een goede prijs. Het hotel heeft een zwembad en gezellige bar. Voor ons was het prima omdat we er maar kort verbleven (onderdeel rondreis). Voor een langer verblijf is de locatie wat minder geschikt. Je gunt het team dat de accommodatie wordt opgeknapt. Team en locatie hebben zeker potentie.

Vergane glorie op dit terrein wat werkelijk enorm slecht is onderhouden. Een groen water zwembad met stuk meubilair, afgebladderde verf. Alles rook muf. Badkamer met schimmel, tegels missend, stukke toiletbril. Enige positieve was de service van de medewerkers. Wij zouden 2 nachten blijven maar zijn na 1 nacht verder getrokken. Ga hier niet heen!

Tijdens onze rondreis hebben we 2 nachten in dit hotel geslapen. We zaten in de flatgebouwen dus ik neem aan dat dit her nieuwe gedeelte is. We hadden een hele mooie ruime kamer met een grote badkamer met een douche en een bad. De kamer heeft een televisie, airco en de mogelijkheid om koffie en thee te zetten. Tijdens de load shedding werkte er een generator dus Aten we niet in het donker. We hebben 2 x een buffet gehad . De ene keer was het lekkerder dan de andere keer. 1 x lunch buffet was ook prima. Ontbijtbuffet vond ik wat mager. Personeel is erg druk. Ze halen direct je bord weg.

Sehr schöne und rustikale Anlage mitten in der Natur mit großartigem Blick auf die Drakensberge. Abseits gelegen, dafür ruhig und erholsam. Schöne, große Zimmer mit Terrasse oder Balkon. Historisches Hauptgebäude mit Restaurant, Bar und Kaminzimmer. Schöner Pool.
