Medplaya Hotel Flamingo Oasis

Great stay. Fairly central to town and beach. Facilities where good although pool was closed and room looked out onto a noisy building site to the rear. Close to local pupluc transport and plenty of parking.

The hotel was great .. i was all inclusive .. in a double room .. the food was really nice .. good selection for breakfast lunch and dinner .. could be a bit more fruit .. entertainment wasnt as good as last time but it is understandable as not so many guests The staff were brilliant , very helpful and friendly , the entertainment team were excellent ! The room was very spacious , clean and warm , kettle supplied with selection of tea and coffee , uk tv and nice balcony . The price was good for 2 people but i was on my own and did not get a discount .. it would have been brilliant if there was a single person discount

Although Spain has new regulations regarding Aircon systems being on, the law says that tourist rooms are regarded as private and as such air con units are allowed to operate at normal temps. We were on the 20 floor and the heat in the rooms was so unbearable at night but apparently the whole hotel had to stick to Aircon not dropping below 27 Deg Celsius.

Been to Benidorm a few times but this was the first for my mum, decided to book here and I was slightly apprehensive as she was a wheelchair user but once there my fears was gone! To start off the staff are absolutely amazing! I can’t give enough praise to the the reception staff! Whenever we went out on the mobility scooter they would take the wheelchair behind reception then as soon as I was back they would get it for me even if there was a que! It even got to a point where they knew me by face over the 10 days I didn’t even need to ask they saw me and knew straight away as soon as I walked in the hotel! Special mention to Charlie who was so nice and I had a great convo with him and to Phillip who when I was leaving came up to specially and said I hope you have a nice flight home and over the 10 days we’ve all been amazed at how much care you have given your mum and your a credit to her to which I thought was really nice! The rooms were nice and spacious and we had a nice pool view we got 213, the hotel itself was absolutely spotless at all times! The bar had a great selection of drinks served till midnight for all inclusive customers, special mention to christiphor who was super nice and allowed me to get extra drinks because my mum was unable to go up to the bar with being in a wheelchair. The food is absolutely superb there was something for everyone and 90% of it tasted amazing. Of course there was somethings not to be liked but with the variety they had it was to be expected. I think the only downsides around the food was desserts was named as house specials so you didn’t know what you was getting and I found the breakfast to be a bit subpar especially the sausages but apart from that it was fantastic! Special mention to ishane in the restaurant who was really friendly and notified us that if we spoke to reception they would give us access via the club door which made it much more accessible for us! Honestly all in all I can’t fault this place! From the staff going above and beyond every single day we was there to the hotel itself it was one true holiday to remember! I will be 100% booking again! The tui reps annemarie and cat were fantastic too! Honestly I would not book anywhere else in the future! To everyone at the medplaya team I can’t thank you enough for what you did for me and my mum over the past 10 days you made her holiday so enjoyable your staff are amazing and please show them this review and give them credit I’m sure they will remember us! The hotel itself is great good food and drinks selection even for me with celiac disease. Everything was labelled gluten free and even had gluten free beer. Our only issue was we were all struck.down by a mystery sickness bug which lasted about 48 hours and many other families had suffered this too. My advice take hand sanitiser with you to be safer

Stayed in room 2315, maid service was excellent as was all staff in all areas food was great plenty of choice, I'm fussy eater and always found something to eat, entertainment was great in both bars waiters were friendly and service was quick, hotel was spotless we have stayed here many times in the last 15 years and each time the hotel has got better and better we arrived on 26th March for a week and will be back on the 20th July for 10 nights we are really looking forward to it. I have never written a review before but I felt I had to as we had a most enjoyable stay

Four of us came for a four night break. Two of us had stopped here before, you get a little apprehensive about suggesting a hotel to others but there was no worry at all , we all had a fantastic time. The rooms were great, kept clean by the maids. ( we all thought the whole hotel was very clean ) food was excellent, drinks very good ( I didn’t understand why you were only allowed 2 drinks at a time if you had to get 3 you were refused bit silly that) plenty of beds around the pool , water a bit cold but once you were in it was o k . Pool bar had toasted sandwiches etc really nice. Entertainment was good , a few nights we went to the piano bar , that was great , thank you to all the staff who couldn’t do enough for us. Will we return yes yes yes and next year there could be more of us

10 of us stayed for first time at this hotel as we tried 5 others in Benidorm each year ,this is far the best hotel ,greeting and helpful staff at reception,hotel room very spacious w for two adults two children very clean (love the dove soap and shampoo) and hairdryer Kettle coffee and tea supplied ,plenty of clothing space in the very large wardrobe,very comfortable sleep. Breakfast dinner evening meal was the best we have ever had ,there’s so much choice for adult and children Indoor and outdoor pool was fantastic,arcade for children Snacks between meals and drinks fantastic Evening entertainment was great loved by all I can’t fault this hotel on anything Thankyou and keep up with great work at this hotel to all staff Thank you hope to return soon

We stayed here in march 2024. We had the best time ever. The hotel is spotless, staff really friendly and welcoming, the entertainment team were amazing. I emailed the hotel before we arrived to see if they would be to plan something for me daughters gender reveal as she had her gender scan while in Benidorm. The entertainment team did not disappoint, the couldn’t have planned it better. Everything was perfect. The photographers were brilliant, we enjoyed this hotel that much that we have booked up again for march next year, with the new baby girl. Location was perfect, good bars right opposite so only a few minutes walk back after the bars close. Food was decent although we ventured out to eat a lot, but the times we ate in we can’t fault. This hotel will now be a yearly things for us. Best holiday ever.
