My husband and I had some issues with our bookings but it was efficiently handled by Kris, one of the front desk staff. Although the issues faced were not caused by the hotel we were given free breakfast and we really appreciate the kind gesture! Breakfast was simple but nice. The restaurant also provides vegan options. Our room is warm, cosy and has a sofa bed. Hotel is strategically located and you can walk to the malls and many restaurants around the area.

Location and staff are great, Premier Plus rooms are definitely worth the upgrade. Very quiet night, no noise at all! Short walk to many great pubs/restaurants, will definitely be top of the list when we return. Special shout out to the young man on breakfast duty 06/01/25, top fella!!

Arrived and was allocated our rooms by a polite and friendly lady on reception. Whilst waiting we used the downstairs toilets which were discussing to say the least. Our booked cooked breakfast was cancelled for both days again not great. Staff generally ok but won’t be rebooking anytime soon.

Good room except extra beds alongside existing beds - not necessary for a single person staying. Expected a cooked breakfast but not available!! Restaurant very noisy and uncontrolled children- went to dine elsewhere. Not a very pleasant experience outside the comfortable room.

The hotel was clean, and the rooms were comfortable. However, the reception staff were slow to respond. We asked twice for a replacement TV remote, and nothing was done. It’s disappointing when simple issues are ignored, especially since everything else about the stay was pleasant.

We’ve just enjoyed a night in the Alfred St Premier Inn, my family and I. We’ve been here before so we knew to expect top quality service, and once again, we weren’t disappointed. We were just staying one night but the staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more efficient. The one slight issue we had was that the food options were limited quite a bit, due to the fact that they hadn’t gotten a delivery over Christmas, so we didn’t have the full choice of the menu. Also, at dinner, the very friendly duty manager informed us that there would be no cooked breakfast in the morning, which we could have been told at reception, but that’s a minor quibble. She was very kind to suggest other places we could go for a cooked breakfast, but we were happy to have the continental breakfast Very special mention has to go to the bartender on duty, a young guy called Mason. He was immensely helpful and chatty, had a real gift of the gab, kept asking could he do anything for us and were we happy, we were told he had just started there, and he’s a real credit to the place, and I hope he does well there. All in all, would highly recommend staying here
