I stayed here on a business trip to the area. All of the staff was extremely friendly. The room was very nice and clean. This was actually much better than the Hilton Downtown. The lobby area is very nice, they have a bar and coffee bar in the morning. They are working on getting the cafe kitchen open which will be a bigger plus. I would highly recommend staying there. And I owe the person who worked the bar who also has a catering business (I can't remember her name) a container of my pork rub when I return. Thank you all again for a very nice stay.

ผผู้เข้าพักMy daughter was visiting for a campus tour of LSU so I tried to find a hotel in the vicinity and selected this one. My main ”negative” thing about the hotel was purely the interstate noise. You are right up next to the interstate, and can hear the noise all night. Even if you are at the back of the hotel away from it. So if you don't like road noise, definitely do not stay here. The breakfast area is pretty small but was fine with plenty of choices. Bathroom was a little small... overall the room was a little small compared to other Hamptons. Free parking. Convenient location. Lots of dining and shopping nearby. Clean. No real complaints other than the noise.
Sooo let me START by saying I used to LOVE THIS HOTEL! This hotel used to be considered 5 stars to us when we started staying here from 2009… this all changed last week when I checked in on Wednesday.. I check in, go in the room and I see there’s a light flickering non stop.. the sheets are OLD!!! with stains. But the thing that hit me first was the smell of MOLD!!! I checked everything and couldn’t find the mold until I looked in the A/C. Full of mold. By the bed ? A ROACH. the toilet ? My 6 year old screamed “mommy that looks like poo stain”.. we called down to report the strong smell of mold. The lady downstairs said “would you like to move to the 5th floor?” I asked “will it not smell like mold?” She said “I will go check and we will move you after I’ll call back”. Okay… we SAT ON THE COUCH alllll night. Sat so long we fell asleep… never got another room. I was pissed. Waste of money. No good sleep… to top it off ? no microwave in the room. I called for room service and was told “we don’t have no cooks.”…. SERIOUSLY? Then take the room service cards OUT of the rooms! … wait for it……For breakfast? Years ago they had eggs, bacon, biscuits and grits etc… that morning ? A few cups of cereal, some coffee, juice and brown bananas.. WHAT!!? After they were so excited to tell me about “complimentary breakfast”… keep that. I took pictures just in case they needed proof. Never EVER have to worry about me staying here. The absolute worst experience ever. You’d be better off going to a cheap motel!
AAlana0801Whew let’s get into! I have some time since I’m sitting waiting for my flight!!! After traveling well over 12 hours to get my baby to Southern for a campus tour, I finally arrived to this property and was greeted by a very nice young lady as well as a young lady she was training. I gave her my name and nothing came up which was odd because the person who booked the room for me called and switched the names but ok. I gave her the confirmation and she pulled it up and tried to assist me but the computer wouldn’t let her change any information. So she enlisted the help of her agm Lenaya Bell… LADIES AND GENTLEMEN IF SHE COMES OUT TO HELP JUST TURN AROUND AND TAKE AN L because listen; first she told the young lady directly in front of me; not to the side, not in the back; that she wasn’t even supposed to confirm the reservation was here since it wasn’t in my name. She kept over taking the young lady who was trying to tell her I’d given her the confirmation number. She rolled her eyes snatched her key and said, “I’m not getting in trouble for this.” And walked away. I am assuming the housekeeping or sales supervisor ended up helping me with no avail so I just had them cancel that I would book a reg rate room for a night and figure things out. Through the midst of it all their systems were down and I had to check myself into my room via my phone and someone walked us to the room with the master key. Room was fine yet the tv and phone wasn’t working. No biggie they said the system was down. My daughter and I head out for a very long time to come back and neither was still working. The pm shift front desk clerk switched rooms for me and it was fine but the room wasn’t all that clean. So my kid and I showered in the other room. Fast forward it’s Friday evening and I’ve noticed I didn’t receive any hotel service. Saturday morning; my check out day, housekeeping decided they wanted to start banging on my door at 9a (which I thought check out was at noon) I let her know I’d be checking out at 12. She came back at 10:30 and 11:45. When she came at 10 I asked for towels since I wasn’t serviced and the housekeeper said shed have to go and grab a couple sets from an empty room. No one returned. So I went downstairs and Ms. Alice (please give her a raise or promotion) literally took charge of the issue and brought me towels! As I was leaving the room because clearly they needed it for something the phone began ringing.. I’m assuming it was 12 and front desk was calling Got down to the front desk and was greeted by the young lady who assisted with check in. (I feel so bad because she’s training and she’s being thrown to the wolves) (I work in hotels and had to assist her with helping a guest because her agm rudely walked away from her). I asked for the general manager Tamitha? Information and was told she refused to give that out so I will be formally contacting the district or regional manager for this property. The age is extremely rude to her employees
LLongwindThe biggest value detriment was the lack of advertised breakfast which I picked up at local McDonald's anyway. (It's better) Hi guys, you probably knew what was wrong with the room before I got in there, given how eager your staff were to enter my room with master keys while I was still leaving. On the plus side: I did have my own extra pillow and earplugs available to get a peaceful night’s sleep on the noisy interstate side of the motel. The room was spacious for me alone and pretty clean. I easily rinsed off the A/C filter which was not too dirty. The biggest inconvenience, as you know, was that the sink faucet was completely detached from the counter and had to be held in place to operate the handle. The fridge was almost half ice, so I turned it completely off to defrost it at checkout. Sorry to the next resident who will get a huge puddle of water when they open it. I had to use the fridge since the hotel provides no ice otherwise. Nor do they provide breakfast (in spite of “breakfast included” advertised). I don’t count a waffle maker with nothing to put on it as even toast. Don’t get me started on the mystery orange liquid stuff in a pitcher. The bedside was missing a lightbulb and the shower head loose and spraying all over in spite of tightening.
