We have booked the accommodation through *********** a couple of weeks prior our arrival. When we arrived, our “host” refused to talk to us and kept talking over the phone. After half an hour, he decided to finally engage and told us that the hotel was overbooked and that we were moving to a nearby structure. He was basically shouting at us making us feel that the mistake was ours. No apology was offered to us. Before moving our bags we asked if we could visit the other hotel first. He laughed: “you go or you go, the city is packed and Booking will not do nothing to assist you”. He was right, despite various emails and efforts to reach the platform over the phone, we received no assistance. A few days later, we were notified by Booking that we were a no-show and that the hotel might debit us the due amount as we cancelled our stay without notice. Great service! Of course, the “hotel” we were moved to was more “simple” and rustic. It was fine as our hosts compensated everything with their politeness and kindness. Make a favor to yourself: DONT BOOK HERE!
