My family and I travelled here for a family funeral, and after a nearly 5 hr drive, realised I had not completed checkout for the booking, so arrived at 7pm with no rooms! Entirely my fault, with upset and stress due to the circumstances. However a big big thankyou to Michelle and Ben on reception who worked so hard to get us two rooms, even though they were fully booked , I have never had such a stressful experience that turned a bad situation into a lovely stay overall.

Dirty smelt awful of damp hairs in the bath the toilet was vile and dirty spoon was dirty wifi was useless no matter how long the window was open the smell was awful woke up unwell and still unwell now wouldn't book again reported to reception and email sent no response

Substandard Inn. Not sure where the premier is in this branch but it’s miles away from being premier. Completely run down with dirty carpets, blown woodwork in the bathroom, cobwebs and spiders, overall just very run down. Granted they are building an extension but they need to put some care and attention into the rooms that are currently available for use. Our bathroom has blown woodwork and just a generic grubby feel, carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in forever, key card stop working twice, and issues parking. I had to park my car on the pavement outside because there were no available spaces. Would certainly not return to this branch.

Booked a family room 6 months ago and was not notified about any building work going on at the hotel, that was and early in the morning. We arrived and told there was no wifi working, not great when you’re travelling with kids as a stop over. The hotel seemed dated, the family room had mould. The room was so hot as the heating was on. We lowered it but it jumped straight back to the high temperature. Enquired at reception who told us you can’t adjust the temperature in your room. We then had to have the window open like everybody else but due to the heat and the noise outside we hardly slept. Terrible first experience with Premier Inn and I wouldn’t book again. However on a side note, breakfast was good in the morning.

Great customer service from all the team a special mention to Kerry who looked after us in the Table To Table restaurant a credit to Premier Inns she knew what we wanted to drink everytime that's very good attention to detail.and she is such a lovely girl.

Great location for visiting North Devon! Kind, friendly staff, food and service in restaurant was great. Couple of things to be aware of - they're extending the hotel, so a building site! But no issues with noise or mess. And main building has no lift but stairs were divided into manageable sections.

the staff was very helpful and kind. the room was amazing. the bed was very comfortable. I had a very good night sleep the tv was good. the check in was easy. the breakfast was very nice. I got the rest I needed. it was value for money. parking was good.

The sink plug got stuck and needed staff to whack with a screwdriver. Toilet flush stuck in the night, needed to jiggle around to stop water flowing. Low water pressure in shower. Rooms don't have air-con. Slow service in restaurant. Definitely not worth the £125 I paid for my twin room.

Old, tired, smelly, no aircon, no wifi. Attached restaurant for breakfast was poor, establishment scruffy, very sticky carpets and tables, poor quality ingredients....we will never return to this premier inn.

Terrible nights sleep. Really uncomfortable beds. Room boiling at night even though not that warm outside. Had to fork our extra for wifi as told at check in that free wifi not working. Usually like a premier inn but this hasnt been a good one.

Place needs a major revamp, definitely not worth the money in its current state , no air conditioning either, bed bas bumpy and horrible

The staff were so friendly, at check in and the restaurant, however the room (22) felt like a cupboard. Very dark and depressing feel to it. No real windows (natural light) High, shaped ceiling with very small velux window. The bathroom felt damp.

The bed was comfortable, but the room was too hot to sleep well. The family room was a good size, but could do with a bit of TLC. The price was good.

The service was horrendous, waited so long to be served, the place is in need of a make over !!! Such a disappointing vist already have waited 30 minutes to be served Shame on you Premier inn. Customers service is so not there !!! Get your act together!!!
