⭐ Review: Riverbank Suites Unit 408, Kuching, Sarawak I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays. Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep. One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated. Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.

Hilton’s location is right smack but they lack cleanliness as shown in the photos, the dust on the top of the bed frame and wardrobe that doesn’t close properly. The breakfast areas in the mornings are also packed with people with not enough spaces to seat. Having been to hotels where they are sufficiently staffed, they could have split tables enabling single guests to seat but the hotel was just unable to cope with the breakfast crowd.

Stayed here for 5 days. Everything was great until the last day, when I discovered my room was literally flooded after taking a shower. The water appeared to be leaking from underneath the bathtub ??? and had spread from the bathroom all the way to the bed 😵💫 My shoes were literally floating, and my shopping bags, stuff ect infront of the door were soaked wet. The front desk responded quickly by sending the plumber/maintenance team, rwhich I appreciated. However, with my room full of stranger, I had no choice but to check out early wearing my soaking wet socks and shoes. It was a very disappointing end to an otherwise pleasant stay

My stay was disappointing. The room was very hot when I arrived and remained uncomfortable, definitely not ideal in warm weather. The surroundings and ventilation need improvement. The toilet was dirty, and the sliding door did not close properly it hung awkwardly over the rim. I have to do it myself to make it inside the rim so it can slide better. Breakfast was okay only and not attractive. They mentioned a tablet would be provided, but it wasn’t. Also, no one answered the contact number for inquiries. I expected much better for the price. Overall, this place is only for Instagrammable.

Friendly front desk. Clean, room is big and washroom is big. Problem js there’s too many little lights everywhere in the room that i can’t turn off when i sleep - aircond, TV, mirrors, switches etc, plus reflections from mirrors means 2x these lights - so it was horrible for me as someone who is super sensitive to light. There’s at least 2-4 door boys at the main door each time I walk in/ out but they’re too busy chit chat and playing with each other - I don’t expect them to open doors for me but seeing a bunch of them there playing around ignoring people walking in and out is just waste of your resource.

My husband and I really enjoyed the stay here. We wished we could stay longer. Definitely will come again whenever I visit Sarawak. Thank you for the exceptional service ♥️

Booked the double deluxe room. Had 2 issues 1. The water temperature is not stable. You'll get warm/hot water for a solid 5 min then it’ll be cold. 2. My room had a window in the toilet where the sun shines through so bright early in the morning, should add in a blind or something there to block them. Breakfast was okay but for the prices of the rooms, could be improve a lot more. Other than that my experience was great. Extended my stay up till 3pm and that cost MYR200 just to get a bit more rest. Would recommend for the comfy bed but get breakfast elsewhere for sure.

พูดตามตรง ฉันตกใจมากที่รู้ว่าโรงแรมนี้กำลังอยู่ในระหว่างการปรับปรุง คุณได้ยินเสียงเจาะในช่วงกลางวัน ห้องแฟมิลี่ที่ฉันพักค่อนข้างเก่า ฝุ่นบนเคาน์เตอร์ห้องน้ำหายไป ตู้เย็นเล็กแทบจะใช้งานไม่ได้ (ไม่เย็น) ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น โรงแรมไม่มีที่จอดรถฟรีสำหรับแขกที่ขับรถมาด้วย ที่จอดรถใต้ดินของที่นี่ปิดปรับปรุง ส่วนที่จอดรถที่จองไว้หน้าทางเข้าล็อบบี้โรงแรมนั้นสงวนไว้สำหรับพนักงานเท่านั้น! อย่างไรก็ตาม ต้องบอกว่าการบริการของพนักงานต้อนรับ รปภ. และทีมทำความสะอาดห้องพักนั้นยอดเยี่ยมมาก พวกเขาสุภาพและให้ความช่วยเหลือดีมาก พวกเขายิ้มแย้มแจ่มใสและให้ความช่วยเหลืออย่างเต็มที่เสมอ ฉันหวังว่าสิ่งเหล่านี้จะเป็นคุณสมบัติที่แผนกต้อนรับเช็คอินจะมี 😢 เมื่อฉันเช็คเอาท์ พนักงานก็ไม่ได้แสดงความเสียใจใดๆ สำหรับเสียงดังและความไม่สะดวกสบายของแขกที่พักในโรงแรมในช่วงปรับปรุงครั้งนี้ พวกเขาควรจะให้ฉันพักฟรีหรือให้ของขวัญตอบแทนใดๆ สักอย่าง ไม่มีอะไร! ฉันพักที่โรงแรมนั้น 3 คืน แต่กลับไม่ได้พักผ่อนอย่างเต็มที่ ผิดหวังจริงๆ ฉันจะไม่กลับไป Pullman อีกเลย

The hotel is going thru a remodel. The room is sparely furnished but sufficient. I didn't have hot water one day .. Breakfast was good but the coffee was great. I think the coffee made the whole stay. Some desk people didn't seem to care, others were good
