SShawnHere's a unique hotel - housed in a old mansion from the 1900s. This means that each room in the original wing is a little different and 'eclectic'. There's also a new wing with newer rooms, a spa, a swimming pool (sorta heated), a bistro and a 1 Michelin star restaurant.
Pros:
- Unique style of hotel that's set away from the hustle/bustle of the Etritat town.
- Helpful staff
- Complimentary bakes and hot drinks from 4-6pm
- Michelin-star restaurant on site (but it was closed during our visit)
- Comfortable beds, good water pressure and a bathtub
- Professional grade Nespresso machine in-room with 4 pods (2x decaf) + nice tea bags
- Grounds are cute, with a resident cat, fireplace and pleasant garden-ish spaces.
Cons:
- Cleanliness - we discovered a swarm of ants crawling behind the curtain. We think it was some food that wasn't cleaned away from the previous guest that attracted the ants. This was gross.
- Room styling may not be to everyone's tastes - suggest you ask to view a room before you move your luggage in.
- Narrow stairs to rooms in main building, was abit hard to get luggage up to but they can get help if needed.
- Location could be a con for some as it's a good 10-12 min walk into the main down down a high.
- Parking spaces were limited.
- Breakfast is pricey at 25 euro - there's a great boulangerie in town Maison Piquenot that you can get good croissants, baguettes from.
- Overall abit pricey for the value you get.

ผผู้เข้าพักIf you want to experience La vraie vie de chateau (a real life a a castle owner) this is your choice. Only 5 rooms available, very private, feels like you are in your own chateau… fabulous park and setting around the main building, was told there are other separate “mini” houses in the park , and you can go watch the horses…. And admire the view on the valley.
Our room: we booked the round bedroom … the center bedroom on the 1st floor…. Fabulous place, need a bit of upgrade in the bathroom… if anything… but seriously felt like a châtelain… as we reached early, we were welcomed by one of the sons of the owners who took us around the private wing, “his house”, and told us everything about the mansion history as well as hotel business. A great interaction with a friendly castle owner and businessman. They also have a snooker, a gym and sauna…. I mean… what else do you want!!!
We had to go out for dinner (at L’Hermitage) which the owner booked for us.
Breakfastwas served in the salons…. Stylish French dépit déjeuner, served by a dynamic, friendly and frank lady.
Just go. Dont hesitate.

Overnight parking is €19.
Very irritating is the shower in the bathroom as the water goes between too hot and too cold on its own pattern and you can't control it.. Typical for the buildings with the plumbing issues, or the water pressure..

ผผู้เข้าพักПросто отличный апарт-отель! Расположение- исторический центр-вся рядом: собор, часы, рынок и т.д. Все пешком, очень комфортно. Сам отель- очень чистый, обновлённый, современный. У нас была комната 510, угловая. Отличная студия с кухней, все необходимое, свежий ремонт, тепло! Освещение прекрасное, места много, сантехника новая, все современное. Лифт на этаж. Да, многие пишут о плохом wi-fi. У нас все работало отлично, проблем не было вообще. Завтрак потрясающий: скрэмбл, варёные яйца, фасоль, бекон, творог, йогурт, сыры, выпечка, десерты, соки, ветчина и т.д. да, недёшево, но определённо, своих денег стоит! Парковка тоже платная, на парковку отеля не попали, она была заполнена, посоветовали парковку в 2 мин ходьбы-OPERA, цена та же (19 евро), выход из парковки есть прямо у отеля! Очень удобно! На парковке нужно аккуратно-не очень просторная, но на своём suv поместились без проблем. Сотрудники отеля очень доброжелательны, вежливы, всегда готовы помочь! Короче, 10 из 10. Очень рекомендую!))

MmarcryuThe location is everything, right in front of the beach. Love the theme of Jules Vernes (name of hotel) and Arsène Lupin which resonated in the rooms. Both of whom had strong associations with Étretat. The building has a very iconic façade.
We had a village-facing room as the sea-facing ones were not available during booking but it had also a pretty decent view. Coffee provided at the hallway at one's disposal. Tea in the room. No AC, so very warm and stuffy at night, could hardly sleep. Wouldn't recommend opening the windows cos of mozzies.
Breakfast spread was generous and delicious. Huge croissants! Staff were very friendly and helpful.

KKungyI booked two rooms. One room was successfully charged to my credit card, but the other was not. I contacted the hotel to explain that I was only about three hours away and asked them to hold the room so I could pay upon arrival. Unfortunately, my request was refused and one room was canceled. I then had to make a new reservation directly through the hotel’s website, which was quite disappointing.
The rooms were not soundproof at all. There is no elevator, and when I asked for assistance, the reception declined immediately without offering any help. Parking is also very limited and requires an additional fee.
