ช่างเป็นสวรรค์เล็กๆ ในใจกลางกรุงเทพฯ เมื่อประตูเปิดออก คุณจะเข้าสู่อีกส่วนหนึ่งของกรุงเทพฯ ที่แตกต่างไปจากเดิมอย่างสิ้นเชิง เราไม่ได้แยกจากกัน และแน่นอนว่าไม่ชอบตึกสูงใหญ่ๆ ที่หลายๆ คนพักในกรุงเทพฯ เราเลือกโรงแรมนี้เนื่องจากมีรูปลักษณ์สไตล์บูติก สภาพแวดล้อมที่เขียวขจี วิวแม่น้ำ และความใกล้ชิดกับพระบรมมหาราชวัง และไม่ทำให้ผิดหวังอย่างแน่นอน พนักงานมีอัธยาศัยดีอย่างไม่น่าเชื่อ ห้องพัก (มาลี) สะดวกสบายมากและตกแต่งอย่างใส่ใจในรายละเอียด และอาหารเช้าก็อร่อยมาก ฉันไม่คิดว่าเราจะเคยกินครัวซองต์สดที่ดีกว่านี้ที่ไหน แม้แต่ในฝรั่งเศส อันที่จริงเรามีความสุขกับการเข้าพักมากจนได้จองห้องพักของเราอีกครั้งในปีหน้าแล้ว เรารอคอยที่จะกลับมา!

Atom and Ohm provided amazing service before our arrival and during our stay. They are the best! The location, setting and atmosphere were a perfect fit for us and really helped us to have a fun and memorable 5 nights in Bangkok. Highly recommended!

Exceptional location and warm hospitality. Our family of four booked one of the river suites and one of the garden rooms for 4 days over Christmas. First off, the property is a gem in the heart of the historic area. It makes it very easy to walk to many of the top sites, take the ferry, see the flower and medicine markets and more. Secondly, both Atom and Ohm and their warmth made the stay exceptional. They provided so much historical and local knowledge that was pure gold. Thirdly, the owner, the third generation from one of the last kings, was in town, and she kindly sent around champagne for Christmas. A nice touch. And finally, the river view for dinner and breakfast was lovely. This is a true oasis in the heart of Bangkok. Skip the soulless hotel and experience a Thai boutique villa. Thank you again, Atom and Ohm!

We spent 5 nights at the fabulous Chakrabonge Villas, in the river view suite. We loved everything about this hotel. The photos don't really do it justice. The suite was very clean and comfortable and the private terrace overlooking the river was a beautiful setting for the huge delicious breakfast. Mr Ohm and Atom were perfect and charming hosts and helped us with transport to wherever we wanted to go, mostly by tuktuk which we really enjoyed. We only had time to have dinner there one night and it was the best food we had during our trip. We should have skipped some other places and eaten there more instead. The pool was lovely and quiet for early morning dips and the grounds are a joy to walk through. If you hate generic tower chain hotels, stay here, you won't regret it. Also book their airport pickup, it went very smoothly.

A beautiful oasis set in old Bangkok. Nestled next to the busy river Chao Praya. This charming establishment provides welcome respite. If you stay here I highly recommend taking breakfast which is served overlooking the river. The food is delicious and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely pool surrounded by lush greenery.

This is a rather unique property in the old city, small but definitely worthy of your consideration. The rooms were built on the estate of a minor Thai princess, who lives (at least part of the year) in a large house just across a walk way from the rental accommodations. The basic hotel rooms are on the small side but beautifully decorated and comfortable; larger villas are available. The pool is large and attractive; the dining room lovely and right on the edge of the river; and best of all, Ohm in the office was an extraordinary concierge who helped us choose restaurants and activities and then book them for us, always with a smile and always with an insider's knowledge. He is a gem and reason enough alone to stay here.

Our Thailand adventure began at the Chakrabongse Villas. They arranged for transportation from (and back to) the airport and our first steps in Bangkok was at their wonderful property. I believe that the name of the excellent gentleman who met us at the hotel was Om. He was very pleasant arranged for our bags to be brought up to the room, and gave us a tour of the grounds. He was also around to offer suggestions and advice. The Chakrabongse Villas borders right up against Wat Pho and the Grand Palace is a short walk away. From the hotel's dining room (right on the river!), you could see Wat Arun and all the colorful river boats. Our room was historic and was just lovely with traditional decor. Our visit included breakfasts and the fresh Thai fruit is something that I will miss until we visit again. In fact, I will miss just about everything. It was a truly wonderful visit.

Siamo stati solo 2 notti al Chakrabongse Villas e Residences ma è stata una bella ed intensa esperienza. Abbiamo soggiornato nell' appartamento "cinese", adatto per il nostro gruppo di 5 adulti, con 2 camere da letto e due bagni su due livelli, un living con angolo cottura ed una terrazza che dava sulla piscina. L'appartamento è elegantemente arredato con pezzi pregiati di antiquariato cinese. Abbiamo molto apprezzato (dopo un lungo viaggio in aereo) la piscina (quasi privata...) a cui si accede direttamente dalla nostra villa. Chakrabongse è una piccola struttura, pochissime camere disseminate in uno splendido giardino e con una vista mozzafiato sul fiume Chao Phraya e sull'iconico tempio Wat Arun, immagine simbolo di Bangkok. I momenti passati sulle terrazze del Chakrabongse, ipnotizzati dal passaggio frenetico delle barche sul fiume, sono stati indimenticabili (da non perdere il tramonto sul Wat Arun). La location della struttura è perfetta per visitare le principali attrazioni turistiche di Bangkok: il Wat Pho, il Palazzo Reale, il Mercato dei fiori, Chinatown sono a pochi passi dal Chakrabongse. La colazione è il piccolo "neo" dell'hotel: non c'è un buffet e bisogna scegliere il tipo di colazione il giorno precedente, tutto è un pò "smart"...ma la location direttamente sul fiume ci fa dimenticare un pò questa mancanza. Dobbiamo ringraziare Atom, vera "padrona di casa", che è stata prodiga di consigli e di assistenza durante la nostra permanenza: Ha organizzato per noi il tour privato dei canali ed 2 sedute di massaggi Thai dentro la struttura ad un prezzo ragionevole, il transfer verso l'aeroporto ed altri preziosi suggerimenti...GRAZIE! In conclusione: consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere una vera esperienza "Thai" in un ambiente molto rilassante lasciando fuori dai cancelli il traffico caotico di Bangkok.
