New Siam Palace Ville Hotel

The Hotel was way better then the other In my opinion, Friendly staff, Location was good not so far from Khao San Road , nice buffet Breakfast as well. Swimming pool was great

It's not a place I would recommend to anyone. Has a hostel and back packer vibe to the place. Claustrophobic sized rooms, tiny ensuites with plastic shower curtain, musty smell in the room and very loud and ineffective preset temperature air conditioner. Too warm and too noisy. Ordinarily, I wouldn't complain but we were initially given a room right beside a building site with the on going scream of an angle grinder in operation. When appointed another room we then needed to request hand towels, as there were none. Breakfast in the morning unless you're a real early bird resembles a rubgy scrum and every man for himself. Although the staff appeared pleasant enough I got the feeling they suffered from "Farang" fatigue. Being close to Khoasan Road and Banglampoo this place had no shortage of takers. Asking to book a taxi on check out for a short ride I was told- 500 baht, I later hailed a taxi outside - cost - 85 baht. So glad it was just two nights, and I really couldn't wait to be clear of the place. Sadly, "Palace", it definitely ain't. .

Was ok hotel. Old but ok. The location is perfect. Almost everything is around the area. The room is a bit old but still okay. Just always order make up room. Breakfast is ok, not much but enough.
