ห้องค่อนข้างใหญ่ สวนสวย. สโมสรเด็กก็ธรรมดา อาหารเช้าหลากหลายค่อนข้างเยอะ ต้องมาแต่เช้าเพราะคนเยอะ แต่ฝนตกและมีลมแรงเราจึงเล่นบนชายหาดไม่ได้

Amazing historical Balinese architecture needs to be greatly valued and the staff many of whom have worked there for many years are really nice. The hotel should be nominated as part of a historical society to hold up & maintain its heritage. It's an amazing old hotel with lovely gardens. & Balinese statues & water features everywhere. It's being renovated at the moment, but the staff said they hope to have the main lobby restored very soon and are doing trial run sometime this month. For now, you have to check into the hotel through a side entrance at Ayodhya palace which was traditionally used for exclusive guests. Previous reviews have criticized the hotel, due to the renovation work going on & yes, they should notify people who book that it is under renovations and when it is due to be finished trough their website. We had 2 rooms & we were upgraded to grand deluxe rooms & thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and the staff were so nice. Extremely quite & peaceful no paint smells or workers being noisy. We got a great deal. Bicycles are free to use by patrons. The main pool is still under renovation but the front pool near the beach is still operating. Waterfall restaurant is open for breakfast lunch & dinner. Other small cafes by the pool are open. The spa sadly is closed but may reopen with a new contractor soon I am told. Please be understanding of what the Ayodya hotel & its staff have been through. It has been shut down during covid for 2 years and is only just re-opening. They need tourists to support them. & if you want value for money, you can get a great deal whilst staying at the hotel right now. Just ask to be placed in a room away from any renovation noise or paint smells. The staff will look after you very well as they did for us. This is a really lovely hotel to stay at. The grounds are beautifully maintained. It is definitely worth the extra room rate to have a pool access room. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the AC is a bit noisy. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We had a few issues with our room and they were attended to immediately. The hotel is located in a quieter area of Sanur. We would stay here again.

My best friend of 20 years and I recently went on our first ever girls trip (we are now both 40) and booked our first 3 nights at Sun Island Hotel and Spa Legian. Upon arrival we were both delighted with the architecture and presentation of the hotel, both clean and modern, yet still authentically Bali and traditional. Check in was a breeze, and every staff member we encountered was not only friendly and helpful, but genuinely cheerful. It says a lot about a place when ALL the staff are that happy all the time! Particular mention goes to the Restaurant manager who welcomed us warmly by name every morning with the most beautiful smile and upmost of care. We stayed on the ground floor in a twin share room, which was spotlessly clean, with fantastic aircon. It had a small balcony big enough for one person to stand on to vape, and the absence of any cigarette smoke on the premises was a DELIGHT. The pool areas (there are 2) are truly spectacular! We stayed away from the rooftop as we are both sun sensitive and it is better suited to sun worshippers working on their tan. The 4th floor pool bar suited us perfectly, with plenty of shaded areas for relaxing on sun lounges. Yes, the decking is in need of maintenance, but from what I understand works are set to replace the decking starting June. I can't wait to return to see the upgrade. Although the pool bars were not permanently staffed throughout our stay, a quick call using the bar phone, had whatever we required delivered quickly to us with no issue at all. It was actually such a luxury to have that pool area to ourselves most of the time. The view from the 4th floor Infinity pool is pretty special, and I thoroughly enjoyed living my best mermaid life splashing about. Breakfast every morning was basic, but delicious, consisting of fresh cooked eggs to order, alongside a buffet of noodles, rice, fruit and pastries. Food service was consistently great every morning. At the end of our 3 night stay we were both so sad to leave as the location of the hotel is absolutey PERFECT. Close enough to be walking distance to all the action and nightlife, we felt completely safe at all times, yet far enough away to be silent of a night time when we needed to sleep (in super comfy beds mind you). After a hiccup at our next hotel within a couple of hours of arriving,that we both couldn't look past, we made the decision to check out and return to Sun Island. To our delight, not only were we welcomed back with literal open arms, we were offered the same rate we had been paying (was an early bird rate when we booked and this was now a weekend) but put straight back into our freshly cleaned original room. Above and beyond doesn't even come close to the service we received. A small issue with the aircon was attended to as soon as we made mention of it and the remainder of our stay just felt like home. We both can't WAIT to return to Sun Island Legian on our next Bali adventure!
