Though the hotel did prepare all the surprise that I have said but all the taps in the room are spoilt. We waited about 3 hours to rectify and the service recovery was slow. We need to negotiate to get perks in return due to the inconvenience. The 1st night of honeymoon started on wrong nite. To sum up, the massage was good and breakfast was great as shown

Great place to stay for a honeymoon/families, especially for those looking for a quiet time to recharge. Near to the shopping places as well. Took us 2 hours due to traffic to het to Ubud, but that’s normal for Bali traffic!

There were a lot of monkeys coming to our open air lounge area when we were having our meals. The monkeys also will snatch your food if left attended in the lounge area. Others was OK.

BEST BEST. AMAZING LOCATION, VILLAS, AMBIANCE, SERVICE AND FOOD. Cant wait to be back 😭

We stayed at a 2bed pool villa at Kaamala resort in July. The view of the green field nature from our pool was amazing! ~ Great location, walking distance from the monkey forest so we had a pleasant surprise of a cute monkey family visiting our garden! Breakfast with breathtaking view on the main infinity swimming pool was rich and delicious! We will definitely go back to Kaamala resort on our next trip to Bali~

The hotel is small , without landscaped territory . It is, reminds like a place for the chicken. On the lobby-administrator lazily communicated , control questions - which she not interesting in ok, , not ask then! Next , the check-in at 15.00, we arrived at 14.15 -waiting, OK. the room is external good. But filling - only 2 small bottles of water per 2 people. Teeth clean only from-under crane apparently - no thanks. One shower set, slippers - 😂bad look ( you can better put) towels on the sun loungers -no. The view of the Villa in the field-where in the morning/ day of the workers, we look at -them at us. 😂 👌in the evening someone was a stink of a burning coconuts.) The bed is soft, but the fan is installed above the head -very noisy , behind the air conditioner blowing and noise - you better sleep in the drapes. If you turn it off, it's hot. At night you will hear beautiful sounds of nature , lizards scream, birds, cock in the morning. In short-romance at the Villa gave only one key😂 we went asking for the second , with explanations ( my explanations ,as client not need at all) for what and why I need a second key from the room . The result - do not save on yourself your favorite, choose the best. We moved to another hotel the next day

Kamaala is amazingly well located. Forest view room has generous space with sitting area and balcony. Design is uniquely Bali elegant and minimalist. Pool has 3 trampoline! Japanese restaurant is excellent

We had an amazing four night stay at Kaamala in November. Staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Breakfast (including veggie options) was delicious, with an incredible view across the infinity pool straight out to lush jungle. We rather enjoyed the odd monkey interruption, every now and again! Our suite was just stunning, with great contemporary touches such as Alexa & Netflix. Only additions I would suggest are maybe a full length mirror and or a light up make-up mirror as it was fairly dark (in an atmospheric way!). Oh and maybe a bin in the bathroom as I kept accidentally almost throwing stuff in the laundry basket! Location is good, just a few mins walk from shops / eateries and it was very quiet while we were there. All in all, pretty outstanding!

This hotel is well located near by Ubud Town center. Staff was very nice and helpful. The bedroom was clean and modern. Very nice to have a little speaker included, listenning music while taking your bath with the view on the forest. Breakfeast was good. Only negative point was the swimming pool deck that was under renovation.

Fantastic location, quiet and nearby ubud town. Service is good but staff used a lot of negative remarks like I am so SAD to see you leave today. They can find a better choice of word to replace like hope to see you back soon with you again. Wiring in the pool need an ASAP fix as it’s dangerous to see wire out from its original location.

Had a great experience with personalised service, great views, very close to the Ubud monkey forest. Enjoyed breakfast with the forest view each morning.

Hotel was super nice and chill! Hotel Staff Ayu was very nice and hospitable. 10/10 would come back again.

The hotel is really pretty and the service there is good！only minus point is the location is more secluded. Overall is great stay especially for couples!

This hotel is probably one of the best 4 star hotels i have stayed in. The service they provide is above and beyond and all staff really do make the effort to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. We booked the forest suite room and it was very romantic with the bath tub facing the forest view. The room is furnished with modern touches such as Alexa and Netflix, as well as international power sockets. The hotel also houses a “secret garden” with some recreational activities offered at an extra cost such as yoga, archery, and even a smash room. What I found unique about the resort is that their restaurant has an unobstructed view of the forest behind, a luxury which other resorts nearby did not have. This makes the infinity pool worth it, and it is lovely to have breakfast there too and I’m sure the sunsets here would be one of the best to see in Ubud (unfortunately we came at rainy season so every day was cloudy). The only negative feedback/improvements I wish to make would be limited to these two: - Wild Air unfortunately has many many moths that come out at sunset, it can be very disruptive to the guests having dinner and it almost made us want to leave the restaurant because there were too many. - I wish there were better bath amenities such as conditioner and body lotion, as well as coffee creamer. - We had no hot water on the first night but this was after dinner at around 9pm so I’m not sure if it was because it was late and hence no hot water, but the rest of the days the hot water was no problem and we had a great bath. Overall, I’d love to come back to Kaamala and try some of the recreational activities and spend more time in the luxurious pool. Every single staff we encountered were always smiling and pleasant, thank you for your service.
