We’ve just returned from the most wonderful six-night stay in a two-bedroom villa at Purana, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless. The airport transfer was perfectly organised, and we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and the warmest hospitality. We immediately fell in love with the calm, minimalist, Zen-like atmosphere. When we were shown to our villa, we were speechless. The photos online simply don’t do it justice. I hadn’t realised the villa consisted of two separate bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. It was absolutely perfect for our family, giving everyone their own space. My two teenagers were thrilled! As we arrived late in the evening, dinner was delivered to our villa. Just when we thought our first impressions couldn’t get any better, the food and cocktails completely blew us away. In fact, the meals at Purana ended up being the best we had during our entire two-week trip. During our stay, we enjoyed a fantastic day trip organised by the hotel with an excellent driver and guide, took part in an incredible cooking class with the hotel chef (which even my teenagers loved!), and treated ourselves to amazing deep tissue massages in the spa. Purana is a true oasis of calm in the middle of a bustling town. Every member of staff was genuinely kind, attentive, and eager to help, from the communication before we arrived to the care we received throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ayu for making everything so easy and welcoming. We were genuinely sad to leave and are already looking forward to returning. I couldn’t recommend Purana highly enough.
