Enjoyed my stay at the hotel lovely spa area staff were great rims were great free parking always a bonus

Great hotel, good location and close to Ashford international. Room was great and lots of bonus’s in the mini bar. Highly recommen

Hotel nice everything is extra price. Room very clean not mad on all dogs being in hotel. Service at bar very slow and toilets at bar not clean . Lovely pool very nice staff at pool .

Ashford International Hotel worked well for a birthday weekend.Room stayed clean and cozy.Bed gave steady sleep after a long day out.Staff stayed upbeat and helpful.Breakfast offered plenty of solid options. Spa and pool felt calm and gave a good break.Location made it easy to move around Ashford. Strong pick for a simple, relaxed celebration.

Shambolic management, terrible service. We arrived at reception and there was a line and only one receptionist, fine. We waited a good 15 minutes to check in. We got to our room, which was a classic family room and nice and big. Unfortunately the room was carpeted and the carpet wasn't particularly clean. Apart from that, the bed for my daughter hadn't been done, so we phoned the reception to ask. Obviously the only receptionist at reception didn’t pick up the phone so we had to go downstairs and queue again to get the child bed sorted. Another 10 min. We went to the pool for a quick swim, it was packed and frankly dirty. Some people were wearing outdoors trainers on the poolside and there was no attending staff. So when I finally saw an employee I raised this as an issue. He asked one guy to remove his shoes or wear shoe covers. Thanks. The worst was dinner. We considered reserving a table but we weren't sure about the exact time (since we had spent the whole day at the safari park nearby and the kids wanted to go to the pool first) but seeing it was completely free to book, and since it was a hotel restaurant rather than some Michelin starred restaurant we thought booking a table wouldn't be necessary. When we checked in, we also asked the same question to the receptionist and she confirmed there was no need to book. Lo and behold, when we got to the restaurant at about 7.30pm a rude waitress with red hair and fake lashes (I didn't think to note down the name) said that without a reservation she couldn't give us a table, that all tables were booked (despite half of the restaurant being empty and anyway available to book online on their website) and there were only 2 waiters serving that night so they couldn't in any event accommodate our table of 4 adults and 3 children. She didn't care that we had 3 young children. I was appalled. We ended up sitting in the bar area and ordering food from the lounge menu rather than restaurant. The food was mediocre and overpriced. I'm genuinely shocked by how bad this hotel and especially the restaurant are run. They have no sense of hospitality and are clearly in the wrong business. This hotel can only be an option if you sleep and leave in the morning. I would definitely avoid breakfast or dinner there for your sanity. The breakfast was shambolic again, we had to wait a good 20 minutes to get a table for 7 people, find any waiting staff and finally have it cleaned. Avoid.

The hotel in general is okay. The service in the restaurant at breakfast time was very slow. We had wait quite some time for someone to come and take details of our room number down. Tables were left with dirty dishes on for up an hour before being cleared away. The replenishment of food and drinks were very slow to. The choice of breakfast selection was good. The food and service in the restaurant in the evening was better our server was very polite and helpful. Her name was Breeze.

We had a super trip to the hotel as a couple + a dog. We used the hotel as a base while exploring Kent, and it was perfectly located for that. The rooms were indeed a bit dated, but this is a non issue for us. Large parking lot on site. The rooms were clean, well equipped and comfortable. The hotel breakfast was good (though coffee could be better), staff was super friendly, and the wellness (gym, spa) facilities were a great bonus. We will for sure stay again if we are in the area.

The room was a huge improvement on the one we previously had. That was ok but tired. Everything was good except for the pillows they were very poor. The bedding wasn’t to my taste but that’s just a personal preference

It seemed under staffed and dining area could do with more cleaning.

Breakfast wasn't amazing but overall stay was good. Enjoyed the pool and steam room, comfortable sleep as well.

Me and my wife we had great time , but there wasn’t any selection on food was quite disappointing , we went out to eat , the restaurant was local which was good The hotel was clean overall was okay

A great find. The Rooms, the food and staff were excellent. Great for pets. Close to the shuttle port. We will stay here again. Only point I could make is that they need a better area for breakfast when travelling with a dog. The low tables with settees are not ideal for eating from.
