"The fact the the receptionist , who was extremely pleasant btw, greeted me by my name, always smiling and personally took me to my room was such an excellent experience. The hotel also had two nice pools. The one on ground level had nice, modern bar. The one on the fourth floor gave me a different perspective of Arraial with the turquoise ocean view and its nice White House’s on the hill. Breakfast was flawless. Highly recommended."

"Very bad room, moldy walls, lots of humidity, hard and small bed for a couple. Terrible breakfast, there wasn't even any natural juice, few varieties of food. There was no hairdryer in the room or at the guest house. The view is wonderful but the room we were offered was terrible, I suffer from allergies and spent the nights feeling short of breath due to the musty and damp smell in the room."
