A Total Nightmare – Avoid Nuca Homes at All Costs! 🛑
I rarely write reviews, but I can’t let anyone go through what I did here. Nuca Homes deserves a wide berth.
Conditions Were Appalling
The unit smelled of damp and mildew the moment we opened the door—and not in a quaint, “vintage cottage” way. It was outright moldy. The carpets looked like they hadn’t seen a vacuum in months. Dust-coated surfaces, grimy baseboards, and even weird gunk on the walls—this was not a home, it was a horror scene.
Impossible to Relax or Sleep
Thin walls mean you hear everything: loud arguments next door, the clattering of dishes at all hours, and footsteps above us like someone was practicing a drumline. The bed was so saggy I feared I’d collapse through it, and the pillows were stained and smelled funky.
👎 Zero Cleanliness Standards
The kitchen was beyond disgusting—sticky countertops, caked-on food in the microwave, and cutlery that looked more like relics than utensils. The bathroom had hair clumps in the drain, a showerhead that sprayed in all directions except where necessary, and towels so thin they might as well be handkerchiefs.
Unresponsive, Even Rude Owners
When we reached out about the mess and noise, we were met with defensive, dismissive attitude—no apology, no concern, not even the slightest offer to help or compensate. One owner even snapped at us when we politely requested replacements for the towels. It felt like our complaints offended them.
Location Is Far From Ideal
Far from being in a charming neighborhood, we found ourselves in a sketchy area. Trash on the sidewalks, empty lots with strange groups loitering, and streetlights that barely worked at night. We didn’t feel safe stepping out after sunset.
👎 Final Verdict
If there was an option for negative stars, Nuca Homes would get them. It’s dirty, loud, unsafe, and run by people who apparently don’t care if their guests suffer. My advice? Save your money and sanity—book literally anywhere else.
