NH Ancona offers breathtaking panoramic views over the Adriatic Sea and the historic city center. Located on a hill overlooking the harbor, the hotel is only a short walk to the main tourist attractions, such as Ancona cathedral, the Corso Garibaldi for shopping and the main train station. For those interested in culture and music, Mole Vanvitelliana is only a 3-minute walk away and hosts summer concerts and events. At the harbor below, guests can also hop on the bus to reach the famous Passetto beach or Parco del Cardeto for beautiful sea views. For convenience, guests may take a taxi or drive; as NH Ancona is located on a hill, free parking is available. The 89 rooms have a laid-back decor with a neutral palette. Many look over the harbor and all have access to free Wi-Fi. The Miramare restaurant that serves national and international cuisine for lunch and dinner, also offers spectacular views of Ancona and the sea. Guests can indulge in the huge breakfast buffet offered daily and there is a bar with snacks, drinks and a TV for sporting events.. For meetings, there are 3 function rooms available and NH Ancona staff will be happy to arrange a special menu for participants.
We stopped here, for 2 weeks, from start to finish the staff were excellent, very helpful, and always smiling. Room very good with a balcony, very clean, continental breakfast good, sleep very good. Overall a nice hotel, about 20 mins walk from the Railway Station, and 25 mins walk from the Town Centre. Just one thing, being British, there is no tea making in the rooms, but they do have a nice small coffee shop in reception. We would recommend.
We only stayed one night as a stop over but wished we could have stayed longer. The room was very large and had a balcony overlooking the sea. The AC worked well. The breakfast was very good. There was plenty of parking available as well.

Our stay at Hotel Emilia in Portonovo was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the outstanding attention and kindness from the staff. Every interaction was warm, genuine, and left us feeling incredibly welcomed and cared for. Particular mentions to Veronica, Erik and the lovely staff from the aperitif area, particularly its manager who is a great wine connoisseur and interesting person. Also the maitre who proved to be a wonderful professional who spoilt us on every breakfast. The hotel boasts a beautiful pool and stunning views that truly enhance the relaxing atmosphere. The gastronomy is nothing short of amazing, with each meal crafted to perfection. One of our favorite moments was enjoying the fantastic aperitif with breathtaking views—a truly unforgettable experience. Art is thoughtfully integrated throughout the hotel, adding a touch of elegance and creativity to the ambiance. Cleanliness is clearly a top priority here, as every corner of the hotel was spotless. Breakfast exceeded all expectations, offering a wide variety of delicious options that catered to every taste. Hotel Emilia is perfectly located, close to beautiful beaches, making it an ideal spot for both relaxation and exploration. This hotel is a perfect haven to unwind, indulge, and savor the best of Portonovo. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable and delightful getaway.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Portonovo area or just outside on Ancona. Genuinely cannot say enough good things about this hotel, which far exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is so lovely-very clean and the staff take pride in a rigorous cleaning service. Our room was fully made as soon as we came back from breakfast before 10pm and cleaning was of a very good standard. The hotel is travertine throughout so just be careful as it can be slippy if it has rained or you're coming back wet from the pool. The pool area is very lovely but the pool bar was closed as we technically went out of season for this (so unable to comment), but again, the area was clean with lots of sun loungers. The breakfast spread was unbelievably good with a large variety to suit all tastes. Traditional fare, with cured meats, cheese, tomatoes, pastries, fruit, etc. but also offered eggs and bacon and other options which is very nice. Excellent Lavazza coffee and fresh juice which made all the difference when it comes to quality. Although we didn't have dinner at the restaurant, we overheard so many guests saying it was unbelievably wonderful and of a high quality (some even said of a Michelin standard!). The wine served at the restaurant was fantastic, having a large variety and many local wines. If you like white, I absolutely recommend the Pecorino Offida Della Angela for 28 euros (one of the best I've tried). All of the staff we met were so friendly, well-mannered, and very accommodating. This was further evident when one of the managers at reception went out of his way to help us by calling the local taxi company we used (who only spoke Italian and we didn't fluently) in order to find one of our lost phones which we were luckily able to get back only with his help! The beach of Portonovo is literally only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there are a few fantastic restaurants at the beach front which were out of this world. Highly recommend Il Molo and Spaggia Bonetti! Would also suggest you bring some sort of beach shoe or croc if you want to go in the sea as it is mostly pebble/shale and can be a bit precarious going in. But wonderful all the same! You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas for the day and the cost varies depending on who owns which section and how close you are to the beach. It cost us 25 euros for the front role of the blue and white loungers/parasol owned by Il Molo for the full day which I would say is worth it, especially if you want to go for a drink and some food there. The hotel is slightly secluded in terms of wider transport or any supermarkets. But if you go to the service stop just up from the hotel where there is a restaurant and trail walk, you can get a free short bus that takes 3 minutes to take you to another bus stop where you can get a bus directly to Ancona city centre. Just double check the times in advance if you can as this is what we needed to do. All in all, Seebay is a fantastic hotel
Everything was perfect but cleaning ladies have to speak not that high, they speak to each other from room to room wich I don’t mind but not that loud , there was one cleaning lady that was on the phone all the time speaking loudly
