The hotel has wonderful staff throughout with a special mention for Marco and Serena at reception. The breakfast was good and typical continental fare. Here again, the dining staff were very friendly and attentive. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean, as is the hotel in general. It's about 15 minutes walk to old town and there is a supermarket and nice pizza shop within 12 minutes walk. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around €30. The bus from the airport to Alghero centre is only €1.30 . I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

A lovely little hotel on the quieter side of Alghero. About 8 minutes’ walk to a small sandy bay, no facilities though and about another 30 minutes to the main beach. Make sure you walk far enough so you don’t smell the rotting sea****, which is a shame because it is a fantastic wide white sandy beach. The hotel room was spacious but minimal and the balcony was lovely and big. Breakfast was the same every day, but everything was fresh. Lovely staff throughout, the waitresses were always on hand if you needed anymore coffee and the reception staff were very helpful if we needed more pillows or coat hangers. We were asked throughout our stay if everything was ok, which it was until we came to check out. We had heard that there wasn’t any where to leave our suitcases, but this wasn’t the case, has we were told we could leave them behind reception, which was fine by us. As we had a late flight, we did ask if we could sit on the roof top terrace but were polity told, that has we were no longer residents we were not allowed up there anymore. We have travelled around Europe and never encountered this policy before, so decided to walk to the beach with beds as we knew there wasn’t anywhere to shower if we were sandy when we came back. On our return we were told we could change in the toilets in the TV room, but when we asked to buy a coffee while we were waiting for our taxi, this was also refused us because we were no longer residents!!! There are no close bars or cafes round this hotel. All I can say is, this did spoil our holiday and our experience of this hotel. If you have a late flight, perhaps this hotel is not the right place for you.

The hotel is perfectly located - close to the waterfront with a very pleasant walk to lots of bars and restaurants. The rooms and ensuites are spacious and the staff were so genuinely friendly and helpful. Watching the sunset from the rooftop is an absolute treat. The breakfast had loads of options to suit everyone including the barista made coffee. Reasonably priced, this hotel is excellent value and I highly recommend staying here if coming to Alghero.

The hotel is located a bit outside of the city center, however it's only a 20 min walk and the views during that walk are beautiful. We had a suite with two bedrooms. In our room the shower did not close completely, causing a bit of flooding on the floor. Also the pillows were quite hard. In our bedroom there was a very loud noise which we first thought to be the air-condition, however, it turned out to be the fridge.

Clean and very spacious rooms. Very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet had sausages, eggs, meat (it is very important for people from outside of the Italy) and delicius pastry. 20 minutes walking to historical city centrum. It is worth the price.

The staff was really nice. The employee Serena has a smile and energy that bring us joy. The check-in was fast and she help us with a lot of informations about our stay and tips of points to visit. Great breakfast.

Quiet area, close to the centre (perhaps 5-7 mins walk with a lovely view), big balcony, easy to find a parking lot, friendly staff, AC, the room temperature was perfect given that we booked it in august. Free toiletry, the room has a fridge. Although we couldn't make the coffe in our room, we bought from the reception - which was tasty and not overpriced. In addition to the room rental, you can also have breakfast for $ - 10EUR/ pers if i remember correct (didn't try it but maybe some consider this when booking a room). All in all, would definitely book a room @villa piras again.

A very comfortable hotel, with helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and clean, well equipped room. Very pleasant walk along the sea front to the Old Town with lots of restaurants en-route.
