very nice trip, surrounded by peacocks, antelops, angola chickens; we also spent some time around the other 2 Anantara hotels on the island

Best staycation we’ve done in UAE! It’s worth the drive from Dubai. The hotels and resorts exceeded all our expectations. We’re so glad we stayed at Al Sahel Villas. We felt deeply connected to nature. Everything was magical. We will definitely come back and would highly recommend this place to everyone.

It is a very nice place, but for the money we could travel further and experience more animals. The service by the staff is exceptional, we really felt looked after, and the food is fantastic (we ate in the African and Italian restaurants). The horse ride with Ubad was brilliant, he’s an exceptionally nice guy and made sure we had such a good time (and we were lucky to see the giraffes). All in it is a lovely place, I just feel that it is too expensive for what is there. Also the flamingoes have gone (for now)!
